Restaurants, ocean beach, bayside beach, water park, snack bar, etc....tobay keeps you busy all day. Awesome, but expensive parking if you don't live in Massapequa unfortunately. Definitely worth it for a full day at the beach if you want to experience Long Island beaches, though.

Tobay is a nice beach and it has a water park for the kids, but pricey to park if your not a resident of TOB. There's also a restaurant and food is ok.

My little piece of heaven offers the most beautiful beach on Long Island, with a country club feel, sprinkle playground, huge outdoor restaurant on the bay side and the salsa shack ( disappointing now without a liquor license). Stay away, it's appropriately expensive to keep...More

I've been going there all my life and it has come a long way. There is now a water park for kids in addition to the playground. Less packed than Jones Beach but does get very crowded on the weekends in the summer.

A pleasant, relaxing day at the beach. It is possible to enjoy the beach without loud blaring radios and wild antics on the beach. The beach area is well maintained and clean.

Unfortunately, no. The only loophole, though, is to have a resident in the car with you. He can show his ID and you'll receive the resident rate.
