The Milks are fabulous hosts and we absolutely loved our (sadly) brief time at Rock Valley Spirits. We road our e-bikes from the house we were renting along beautiful roads we practically had to ourselves. The distillery is located on the extensive Milk property, which is absolutely gorgeous and abundant. The Milks explained that they grow almost everything they need to make their spirits right on their own property, much of it wild. They also trade for other ingredients, maximizing their investment in the local farming community. Our tasting was delightful, and we especially loved the Gin and Elderflower Liqueur. What a treat to visit a distillery built on a centuries-old family farming property. The Milks are so warm and energetic and were truly inspirational about chasing and embracing their passion!
