Located in a late 1800's church, we are unique amongst our counterparts. Visit us for wine and beer tastings from Lost Kingdom Brewery, during normal business hours. Our space is available for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, private events, business events, and we also host several large holiday events throughout the year. We are located one block North of the 96 A and State Route 414 junction. Inside the church behind the ice cream stand.

OUR TASTING ROOM IS CLOSED DURING THE MONTHS OF JANUARY AND FEBRUARY.

We wanted to love it. Freezing both times. Still this time we bundled into our winter coats for an event. They just weren't on top of a lot of things. Only one bathroom open. Only one bar open. Kept forgetting about a projection they had up. It's very pretty and the owners are personable to talk to, but it's not... More

We took a group of 37 "Gulpy Sippers" to Eremita this year and Josh gave us a great tasting! It is a church tasting room and it was cool. We were told about Peggy the ghost that was playing upstairs and about the church. Josh was very hospitable and fun! We had a great visit- thanks for hosting us!

Eremita is a bit off the well traveled wine trail, but not to be missed. The renovated church is a wonderful setting for tastings. The owner is a gracious host and quick to provide some history of the church including the ghost who inhabits the attic. It definitely was one of my favorite stops. Did I mention that the wine... My husband and I recently stopped into Eremita while touring the finger lakes. We were amazed by the beautifully renovated church- what a neat idea for a winery! Not only was the location gorgeous, but the wine and beer were delicious. We ended up buying a bottle of Pinot noir, but could have easily left with several more bottles of... More

I knew the winery when it was still a church. I watched it sit empty for many years. Then Abby and Josh came to our little town with their amazing ideas and transformed the old church into a great winery and event room. The wines they present are fantastic, from the dry to semisweet. I attended events they put on... More

We originally found Eremita in April of 2014 when we were visiting wineries with some friends-we all loved it as soon as we saw it from the outside. It's a beautiful old church with stained glass windows and the moment you walk in you are greeted by Matouk who is always happy to see new visitors. After saying hi to... More

Thank you for all of your compliments. I am so glad you enjoyed your visit with us. I will be splitting my time between our new brewery, Lost Kingdom, in Ovid and the winery in Lodi. I hope to catch you at one of the places on your next trip out. Cheers, Abbie. More

My wife and I had a Groupon for a wine and chocolate tasting and stopped in on the weekend. The church was nicely redone into this winery and brewery. They source the grapes locally, and we were able to try all their wines. We found several that we enjoyed and they did a knockout job on the scotch ale we... More

I just was at the winery for a family wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was fantastic and very knowledgeable. They helped me figure out what wine/beer suited my taste best and nailed it. The staff was also just the most friendly group you could find. The building was gorgeous and just a wonderful atmosphere. Eremita was our first stop for my first visit to the finger lakes wine region, and after four days it remains my favorite! First, we were greeted by a tail wagging, body shaking dog matouk. He was so excited to see us and remained at my side throughout my whole visit. Stepping inside, with jazz filling the space, it literally... More
