Really nice for a quick stopover, although roads are not really well signposted and we lost the way several times.

Stopped here on our way back to RSA. Place is well kept and lots of ablution blocks which are well looked after. Had a short walk in both forest & rocks. Awesome to see but at $200 for 2 people we felt it was slightly on the high side, especially if you're not an overseas tourist.

A marvel of nature and something to be experienced. Natural rock formations with quiver tree's - there is a safe hiking trail through the area and clean ablution facilities.

Oh wow, so a friend suggested we see this on our trip through Namibia, so we made a reservation at a nearby lodge so ensure that we don't miss these two spectacles of nature. 1. Quivertree Forest: Absolutely stunning to see so many of these unique and beautiful trees in an area so hot and arid. These trees which don't... More

Arrived just before the sun went down. It's a stunning spot for photos. The "subject" are obliging and stand still. It was quiet and we got some stunning photos.

Within a half hour drive from Keetmanshoop, the Quivertree Forest is a unique experience and a photographers' dream. Do take your time to explore, and do wear sun protection, as it can get rather hot in the sun. The Giant's playground is nearby and worth a stop as well.

The rock formations were unlike any we had seen before and the quivertrees most striking as the many photographs show. We saw our first mongoose here. At the house you could take part in the feeding of the cheetahs. My favourite was the overweight pet warthog, which amused itself by speeding past the reclining dogs, and getting no response went... Namibia is much more than dunes and game reserves - the geology and flora are also interesting. This area offers both

These two areas are close together and worth seeing. You will feel like you are on another planet or in a dream. The trees...which actually are aloe plants and not trees...are unique. And being so far from light pollution with a weather system that rarely has heavy clouds you can see the milky way. I did night photography and the... More

This is a unique place and well worth strolling through the forest of these interesting "trees"--they are really a variety of aloe plant but they are speculator.
