Beautiful rock formations, be sure to wander a bit further than the gorge itself. The gorge is pretty small, you're done in half an hour, and that's stretching it. It is however a great starting point for a walking tour through the nearby palmeraie, back...More

I can't say they are spectacular or fantastic. There are, for the region, quite something else. Yes. For the desert it is a welcome relief to see cooling water and it is lovely to see that the locals take full advantage of this great asset,...More

Larger than Dades Gorge and arguably more spectacular. It is quite busy though with a road running through it. Well worth a visit the drive there is pretty cool anyway which makes the trip worthwbile on its own.

The height of this gorge is dramatic, the walk through on the road is very easy & we didn't have any traffic to bother us in May. You can see where there've been rockfalls - onto 1 restaurant roof (wouldn't recommend eating there!). Although the...More

Our guide drove us up into the gorge on our way from Erfoud to Skoura. The steep cut through various geological strata was very impressive. We wanted to have lunch in a hotel across the river (via a rickety two-plank bridge) on the opposite side...More

Unlike many of the reviews below, when we went in April there was no one there. We enjoyed the beautiful gorges and walked where we wanted. It is a magnificent site to see. We did not stay long as we stopped here on our journey...More

The cars and tourist busses spoil the charm of this otherwise really lovely natural attraction. Unfortunately groups of tourists bring in a lot of noise, and the ugly hotels inside the Gorge should not have ever been built there.

Went there June 16, 2015 Awesome gorge. Pretty nice colors all over. We saw some Nomads fetching water. Had a short donkey ride-fun!. The man who assisted me with his donkey was really nice.

Yes. We drove all through Morocco with no problems. We rented a car in Marrakech and then stayed in Tinehar for 2 days to see the gorge and surrounding area. If you are driving, you may want to drive up the gorge to a real... More
