Massive rocks encircling a park where over 200 tortoises roam about, it is the nearest to being in a Jurassic park.Next door are lighted calcite caves where the splendour of the staglagtiles and the staglagnites can be appreciated. There is also a small museum where the bones of the now extinct Solitaire bird, the cousin to the Dodo is displayed.... More

Been there for our last day of vacation, there are only tortoise and the cave. Whenever I visit an animal park, I love to see the animals wild and free. It was the case for the tortoise and they were very friendly. So cute the way they ask for cuddles and scratching on their neck.

One of the nicest place to visit in Rodrigues. Friendly staff and the place is well maintained unlike caverne patate!

this place offers a nice guided visit around the endemic forests and caves, housing various species of endangered animals, including the famous tortoises; very good guides.

Do not miss this place. Not only you will see 3 types of tortoises, you will be able to walk through a large open space valley and "play" with tortoises. Guides are full of interesting stories and do they presentations in French and English. There is also a Cave, I would highly recommend to go through that as well.

Spent a good time there and the guides were really good. The parc felt lyk a place in the wild where the tortoises were not afraid of us and yearned for a carress

Firstly, I have to mention the road leading to this place. It is terrible! We had a small hire car and were very pleased when we and the car got back to the road in one piece! The attraction itself is certainly worth visiting. You see tortoises that are only a year old and very small to the ones 80... More
