This waterfall is not to be missed. I went in the offseason and it wasn't crowded. As the other reviewers said, the drive is a little long and your are on the dirt road for awhile, but after the bridge there is lot 1. The falls are only .4 miles from the trailhead.

it was a long drive in to find the trail head. We parked at the parking lot w a trail head that says .4mi. It was a little shorter than we expected. We hiked the .4 mi and saw the top of the fall. But we wanted to get to the bottom of the fall, but there's no marked trail... More

Great walk with kids, packed a picnic and had a beautiful day. We highly recommend this walk any time of the year.

Pretty easy hike, mostly flat. The falls are definitely the highlight of the hike. If you keep walking you'll get to the Lake George shore, perfect for a dip.

These are a beautifulset of waterfalls. Not huge, but really pretty. To get here, the best thing to do is use your google maps and follow it. The parking gets full...there are not lots as you get closer to the falls. You have to park along the 'street'. Park and follow the dam access road. It's only a half mile... More

Drive the boat over to base of this and had to hike up to the falls. It was super nice and easy hike up. Kids had no problem. Nice to swim back to the boat after a nice hike. Small damn at the top is the source of the water falls wonder the history of that cement pool at the... More

This was a very easy hike for a person in average shape. It is rocky in the beginning for a short distance, but flat. Walking down to the base of the falls is steep but not very difficult. We also walked down to the shore of Lake George and wished we brought our bathing suits to swim. Overall it was... More

Great spot for family hiking, even for beginners. My kids loved being in the woods and the falls themselves are wonderful. Definitely worth the short drive from Lake George, or anywhere else in the area. You can dip in the lake along the path to cool off as well.

I am from queens so I'm not use to hiking at all. Most of the trail is smooth but there are parts that are rocky, especially at the beginning of the trail. To get to the falls you have to hike down a steep incline. It is full of large rocks and tree roots. Once you get down there it... More
