This trip took my tourists to ancient Africa in a very conservative historical town. In this place, what is required is a good heart and you have nothing to fear as you enter the pythons pit or carry them around your neck. The history is...More

We visited with a guide and were able to go into the temple where many, many pythons were sleeping. It's a very small temple and there isn't a lot to do except see the pythons. We were able to handle them and learned that they...More

Obviously a regularly used Voodoo temple, this was an interesting stop. You will need a guide as you would have no idea of the part the python plays in their ceremony and certainly wouldn't be able to take time and handle the snakes and go...More

This is a dreadful place. I know it has significance for the local Voodoo worshippers, but there is little to see except a pit of pythons and then the rather sad ritual of tourists having their picturebrajen with a snake around their necks......which has nothing...More

Python snakes well keep with a strong history to it. Make sure you absorb the history first before experiencing the snakes round your neck for some few minutes. IT'S SAFE.
