We went sledding when my wife and I visited in February. We went to the Comedy Center and went sledding.. 30 yr old bodies do not recover as fast as 20 yr old bodies!

This is perhaps one of the most magical of parks in the entire world. It is full of nooks and crannies to delight every child. Plenty of space and opportunity to let their imaginations soar as they embark on a trip to Neverland or launch their paper boats in the creek. The playground equipment is a mixture of vintage and new. The swings are always a big attraction. There is ample places to BBQ. You can get lost her for hours. There is also a band shell for summer concerts.

There are picnic tables, playground & paths to walk. It is on flat ground at the edge of a ravine & often a small stream is running through there. On the other side of the road there are restrooms, a small cement basketball court & a baseball field for young players. Nearby are soccer fields.

Allen Park is a great place to take the kids to play, explore the creek and just have fun. We have had my grandchildren's birthday party there several times. You can rent out the pavilion!

For me, an above average park, because instead of just mowed lawns and playing fields, it has a nice wooded trail to enjoy. Have walked it several times during visits and the dog and I both enjoy it.

Small park with a playground and bathrooms at one end. In the middle is a band shell which features the city's municipal band on Wednesdays in early summer. Running the length of the interior is a small creek with trails to walk along. A great place to take a short break while visiting the city of Jamestown.

It is difficult for older ones to attend a program in the bandshell area with the slope. It has great acoustics and I wish more programs were scheduled here. There is a nice playground up above for children and it is nice for picnicing too. Nice area to walk dogs. There are flat paths and roads above bandshell area.

I would like to reserve the pavilion for a church picnic. Who do I need to contact and how much would a Sunday Afternoon cost?
