My husband and I were part of a specially booked group, and we absolutely loved our trip. The afternoon was sunny and pleasant, and the narration on board was interesting and engaging. My wife and I were on a road trip around New York State and staying in Ithaca. Before we departed from home we researched this boat tour and decided that we would like to do the trip. We arrived early to make sure we secured a good seat on the boat. Whilst waiting for the boat to depart we were chatting to the captain and his assistant about the time the tour would start. We were the only people on the pier at that time. I said to the captain that we had travelled 4000 miles from the UK to take the tour and wanted to be the first in the queue to secure a good position and seat on the boat. He said that he would make sure that we would be first to take our seats. The tour was fantastic and we really enjoyed the cruise around Cayuga Lake. The captain and his assistant were first class and the Captain's assistant gave a great commentary as we travelled around the lake. My wife and I really enjoyed the tour and it made for a memorable day for us in Ithaca. Well done guys!…

This was a perfect way to cool off on a summer Saturday. The views were impressive. The commentary interesting though somewhat hard to hear.

I started riding the MV Haendel years ago and have become hooked ever since. This lake as well as this boat have come to mean a lot to me as my most happy times have been spent around Cayuga Lake and on these cruises. I can't go a summer without being on at least one tour. I'm so glad there is a way for the public to get out on this amazing lake.…
