This is one of the most beautiful parks with gradual waterfalls and a lovely hiking trail beside it. This is nice for families. I would hike Buttermilk Falls as a study break during graduate school at Cornell. This hike is good for the soul!!

Tall and fun to walk around. Next to playing fields and other hiking trails. You can even walk to Ithaca Brewing company for a nice post-hike beverage.

This place is one of a kind. At upper buttermilk I'm almost positive you don't have to pay to go in but I could be wrong. The falls are beautiful and the hiking is cute and fun. Don't jump off the cliffs either. It may be a rush of adrenaline, but nys issues fines for that kind of stuff. Bring... More

The Gorge trail was closed as it was bitterly cold but it made no difference to us - a well marked trail up to the ridge and we joined several trails together, including taking in a lake loop or two. Snowy and lovely and not another sound around - dont miss it if in Ithaca

No water at the waterfall! But very pretty nevertheless. Just not worth driving out of your way to visit to see the waterfall.

We started at the bottom and there it was a lot of "up" but well worth it as the views were spectacular.

Lovely spot for an autumn hike! You will see beautiful gorges , multiple waterfalls and foliage galore. Trail could be better marked so pay attention and definitely wear hiking shoes to prevent slipping on the wet leaves!

Decided to spend a day and night in Ithaca with no plans or knowledge of what to do. Turned out great, the walk down the gorge path at this park was spectacular. Would go agin to do more exploring in the other trails
