Do not skip this park, it's one of the best on my waterfall hiking adventure in the finger lakes. My hiking route: I parked at the bottom and walked up the gorge trail and then back down the rim Trail. Looking at the map it...More

This is a beautiful place to visit. Great views of the falls along the way. Definitely a must see. If you go downstream there is a place to seat and the end of the fall.

I recently ran a trail marathon through this amazing park and the waterfalls and trail system are awesome.

Arrived here ready to explore the falls and swimming area. However access greatly curtailed due to construction. No swimming in the area beneath the falls and limited access to other areas of the park. That being said, the falls are beautiful and still a nice...More

Was here for a 50-mile trail race. The trails were well maintained and easily accessible. It was easy to park and navigate the area.

Picture an Indiana Jones type movie scene, that has a a natural waterfall and manmade bridges and endless steps made from rocks for the movie characters to traverse and Robert Treman is that setting....dramatic mix of nature and man made stonework at its best. Wow...More

We hiked the gorge trail and then the rim trail starting from the lower parking lot for a really nice 4.3 mile hike. The scenery just keeps getting more dramatic as you hike the gorge trail. And the rim trail has several great overlooks beginning...More

Beautiful park visited on a Friday for free. So many in this area but worth a stop. Swimming area great for families with a lifeguard. Unique road where water crosses road on way to campgrounds. Waterfall picture perfect.

We went to the Upper Parking lot and walked the gorge trail to Lucifer Falls. Falls are beautiful. Lots if water. We went shortly after a thunderstorm had passed through. And there were no bugs. No black flies or mosquitoes on a damp hike in...More

For a while, part of the upper trail at Treman State Park was closed. I am curious to know, as of September, 2016, if it is open again. Also, if it is open again, would you recommend by doing the step side of the trail, or the forest side of the trail, first.

I believe both were open. We really enjoy the step side of the trail. I think the views of the falls are much prettier. There are quite a few stairs, but there are many places to stop & rest on the way back up if necessary... More

Here's a phone number for a local transportation company: (607) 277-RIDE (That's 277-7433). They list the park as one of their stops but I'm not sure how it works with their schedules. The park is worth the effort to get... More
