Wonderful summer swimming

Ever swim in a cool pool underneath a waterfall? Here it is heavenly and not to be missed. Spread your towel or blanket on the grass & enjoy. I

I camped here for a night on my way to and through the Finger Lakes before heading to Syracuse. This park has beautiful hiking trails to hike, a great swimming area fed by a waterfall. The campgrounds are nicely kept by the state and they have clean shower facilities with hot water. The bathrooms in the showers areas are clean... More

A must-do if ever you find yourself in Ithaca, or simply plan to go. The trail system in the park is full of breathtaking vistas and the most spectacular waterfalls. We hiked down the Gorge Trail & back up the Rim Trail. It was the most beautiful hike and the fall colours made it even better. I can recommend it... More

Beautiful place, Love, Love, Love the falls and the hike. Only dislike was no hot water in the men's bathroom sinks. The showers had it, but none in the sinks??? I wouldn't deter me from returning though. Need more sites with amenities for RVs and Motorhomes......like electricity, water...etc.

We're Medicare-card-carrying seniors, in good health but not super fit and today we completed the 5 mile hike from the lower to the upper falls and back. Some reviews seem to discourage hiking the full trail but don't sell yourself short, it's challenging but certainly not over the top difficult if you pace yourself. What a sense of accomplishment! We... More

The natural pool here is what draws your attention a few minutes after entering the Park. It was quite crowded but the water is beautiful and they do have Lifeguards and have diving boards! It's too much fun. We then walked the Rim trail and it was breathtaking. Literally. The stairs at the end of the trail makes you beg... More

The gorge trail is about a four mile hike roundtrip from the lower parking lot. It is absolutely stunning. we have hiked it a few times by now and never tire of the views. this park is a true gem.

Robert Treman State Park is a favorite. Where else can you camp in Park with stunning trails and substantial waterfalls within 3 miles of a Wegmans. We also enjoy the short drive to many interesting dinning options. There is in season swimming at the falls. Power is available at many shaded sites.

We visited 5 State Parks all with lovely falls, this one was by far the prettiest and had more chipmunks than I have ever seen.

Amazing. You must walk the gorge. The waterfalls are spectacular. The hike isn't that bad if you aren't in a rush.
