I really liked this park on the southern edge of Ithaca. Very easy to get to, plenty of parking, and multiple trails to take. You can walk to the waterfalls in seconds without having to follow any challenging trails. You can also venture off on a 2 mile trek to the other side of the park and see an abandoned... More

What a pretty park. My husband and I stopped here to check out the park. Unfortunately the gorge trail was still closed for the season so we will have to come back for that but the park is still quite beautiful!

Very nice park and the falls run very strong in spring. Great walking trails in summer Don't attempt if you have knee problems or heart problems You can walk partway from upper glen if you can't walk far. That way you can see first couple of waterfalls. Great for camping , picnics and just hiking

Gorgeous views around every turn when you hike Treman. Be ready for a lot of stairs and hills (it is a GORGE, after all), but there are different loops for different lengths/intensities.

Great public waterfall. I went on a rainy day and a double rainbow appeared. See picture. $8 per car begins 4/29/2017.

The Upper Park trail is especially stunning. You have two choices to walk the circular route: the path on the right (going up), you walk down many stairs; if you take the straighter path on the left following the water, you have to walk up them. Your choice. It's an easy enough and beautiful walk for young children (our grandsons... More

Treman State Park is a personal favorite of our family for weekend hikes. The choices of trails and terrain mean that there's something for avid hikers as well as those just out for a Sunday walk in the woods. If you can, do climb up to the top and see the falls!

One of the most beautiful places you will ever see. You can hike and hike until you find remote falls, and hidden ponds. So amazing!!!!!!

We went to the Robert Treman State Park last week. When we planned the trip we were hoping for snow and ice but there was not much of either, The lower park was open to photograph but not the upper park where Lucifer Falls is due to hazardous conditions. We were still able to photograph the Treman falls from right... More
