A dozen miles from downtown Ithaca, which is georgous for gorges. Out of all falls of the area this is the tallest (214 ft), and the most spectacular one. To the east lies the Cayuga Lake where the Taughannock Creek joins. All the three make it a must see.

I was in the area for the first time and stopped to take in the view on a beautiful fall day. Very convenient to Ithaca and easy to access. Don't miss this!

It is a short drive from Ithaca; the viewing area is minutes from the parking lot. Well worth the time to visit.

The trail is well maintained and the waterfall is gorgeous. This is a great place to spend a couple of hours.

Camped here after the main camping area had closed for the season. Only the electric sites were available. It was great to have electric, though. The sites in this area are pretty much wide open and some are VERY close to each other. We were lucky to get a corner site, so we had more room than most sites. The... More

Loved Stewart Park at the southern end of Cayuga Lake. I saw no reviews of it on TripAdvisor so I'm putting mine here. What a lovely park to sit on one of the swings below the weeping willow trees and stare at the lake. You can BBQ, enjoy a picnic or watch the kids have fun on the playground. There... More

Short walk to the falls and truly amazing to see. It is extremely interesting to see the river bed. The fall colors were amazing to see and the path is truly beautiful.

We visited on a road trip through the finger lakes. It was a nice, clean lake, with many wineries nearby. And some nice b&b's. A good place to chill and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
