In the middle of the desert is the most beautiful collection of rock formations. We were there for a quick visit, but would recommend spending sometime time to climb and explore. Great photo opportunities. Entrance N$50 per adult and N$70 per vehicle. It is almost...More

A great place to visit with excellent photography opportunities. Not that easy to find due to a lack of signs and no GPS signal. One should go with a stocked cooler box and picnic basket as the offering in the rest camp leaves little to...More

We visited this park for 24h and stayed at Campsite 11B. Did some hiking and bouldering the one day and the Bushman Paradise guided walk the next morning. Very fair prices and great adventure.

The sunset is Breathtaking. Camping is peaceful. There are vendors along the rode. They will ask for treats for their kids. We gave them biscuits. And the next time that we went to the store, we purchased items specifically for these people.

We camped inside the park (150.00ND per person / 100.00 per child between 2-12 years old) so the entrance fee was included. Day visitors pay 50.00ND per person and 70.00ND for the vehicle. We took a guided tour with a lovely guide named Benny (50.00ND...More

Totally amazing landscape. Great for an overnight stop or day-trip from Swakopmund. You can walk amongst the bolder mountains and climb over the smaller sections. You can also take a local guide from the entrance to harder to access areas and learn about the local...More

Heat haze permitting, Spitzkoppe is visible across the semi-desert from over 100km away, and from one angle, does indeed look like the Matterhorn. As you approach, what appeared as a single mountain splits into two, with several smaller lumps. They are all a kind of...More

We camped in camp site 10A - certainly one of the best available. The place is magical all-round. Do spend some time walking around to see the bushmen art and arch rock. We loved the (long) distance between the camp sites. The restaurant/bar area is...More

I camped here for 2 nights with family and friends. Campsites have long drop toilets but do not have running water or electricity and shade is minimal but Spitzkoppe is an amazing place and well worth the visit. There are a number of sites dotted...More

It is definitely worth a stop there, although it's a shame not to stay for sunset, as it would be the most spectacular one in Namibia.
