Very nice beach, quite clean compared to other places. The only problem is to find a place to stay. Stay away from Busua Beach Resort! Very expensive for what you get.

Busua beach is fantastic stretch of sand and clean, warm sea. Locals are super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, just always on hand if you need anything. Lots of great bars dotted along the beach where you can get the days catch cooked fresh.

Busua is overall a bit different from many other places in Ghana. Busua seems to have “grown” into a kind of tourism on a local level. You will find a lot of improvised shops, foods, juice-stands etc. You see more nationalities here than typically around Ghana.
I have visited Busia many times and it’s never exactly the same.

A grubby, noisy, polluted beach. There are fun waves. It is cheap.
This is no Island Getaway.
Good enough if you have few options

We ended our Ghana trip in Busua for several days, and had the best time, eating, playing cards, swimming in the sea and socializing with the locals. The sun was vicious, and we burnt so badly the first day, even after spending 3 weeks already in the country. (I think it was partly the malarial, but who knows). Make sure you take a surf lesson or two, very inexpensive and fun to get to know the local crowd. We also rented a skim board every day, and my son had instant friends, ranging in age from 10 - 30!!!

This beach is excellent, it is not busy at all and the water is warm and it is excellent for swimming, the views are great and the beach is clean. We had a lot of fun, visited for the day only but we enjoyed it.

This is one of the nicest beach you can find in Ghana. The middle part is nice to just walk on but the edges of that beach are just absolutely magical!! Also go during Asabaako festival and ull have a great time!!

If Cape Coast beach is not remoted enough for you, go to Busua and enjoy Guinea gulf sandy coast. It is not very developed place that you can find less and less every year in the world.

Unlike other beaches, i wasn't chagrged entry fee.
The beach is clean and the water is clear

There isn't alot of fishing done there. A few canoes and boats along the coast!

There are great resorts and restaurants around it.

My fav thing is there are a interesting activites to engage in at the beach and around like touring, surfing, skating, drumming etc

The locals do not harass and mostly leave you to be! You get to interact with a local community if you like or roll solo peacefully

There is a taxi rank right in front of the beach making transportation easy.

I really really loved it there

This is a beautiful beach in Western Ghana. The locals don’t sun bathe or swim in the water. I saw a couple surfers. A few tourons walked up and down the sand. Several small restaurants are on the beach and some locals approached us in a friendly, non-annoying way asking if we would like surf lessons or to sell us some fresh lobsters. The only disappointment of this picturesque beach is the clutter of plastic bottles and other miscellaneous trash.
