Excellent Cruise. Very informative. Narrator had wonderful, humorous and factual stories. We were able to see lighthouses, seals, and a beautiful sunset. Food is served on board.

Though very small this maritime museum was delightful. Photographs, ship models, a Fresnel Lens... A children's room for nautical arts and crafts is a nice addition.

We visited the Museum during the annual Maritime festival. The festivities were fun and lively. We took the 3 hour lighthouse cruise and found it to be the absolute best bargain on the Island. The cruise was enjoyable and the narrator provided interesting historical insights...More

Housed in the former Greenport train station. There's a handful of 2-hour parking space in front of the museum, but no dedicated spaces. There's a small lot between a side street and where the cars line up for the ferry where I parked. *shrug* Their...More

Interesting museum about the history of Greenport and area light houses. It's small so does not take much time.

If the weather is nice this is the place to go! Great food and drink options around the marina too. Definitely recommend.

The Museum does not live up to it's location within the historic and beautiful Greenport train depot. What you will find is a haphazardly curated mishmash. Common guys and gals on the museum board. You have the preeminent location. Step up to the task and...More

Tucked between the Fireboat Firefighter Museum and the Greenport Railroad Museum of Long Island, this a great place to take the kids for brief look at some local maritime history. The museum is small enough to keep kids intrigued bore you hop on board one...More

It's located in the original train station now serving as the museum. There are items on ship design, far flung whaling, defense of the nation including the Nazi threat, lighthouse lights, and many other topics. Great story about a local restaurant owner whose seafaring life...More

Our trip to Long Island wouldn't be complete without the light house tour. Such fascinating history and to think they are privately maintained. A vital role in maritime history, these light houses were an adventure. I dont mind being on the waves, so we enjoyed...More
