The only place to catch a play in Glens Falls, and they do a good job of it. Seating is nice, not a bad spot in the house, and the variety keeps it interesting. Downtown, so catching dinner before or afterwards is easy, and there's plenty of parking in the evening as well..

We bought tickets for "A Comedy of Manors" written by Zoe Samuel, playing at the Charles Wood Theater at the Adirondack Theatre Festival in Glens Falls New York. It's a wonderful theater space with very good sight lines and excellent stage and backstage space for the cast and crew. The most fabulous thing was that the play was hysterically funny... More

Only 300 seats and not a bad one in the house. Professional quality shows for a range of taste from Broadway to Shakespeare. A big load of talent in this small city.

Average, nothing special here, try to find a decent place to park. Visited last summer, play we a drag, facility is kind of odd re layout, can't offer any rave reviews here.

The last 2 years have been disappointing. We thought this year would be better, but it isn't. Used to look forward to the shows, but that hasn't been the case the last 2 years. We love to support local theater, but just can spend another disappointing evening at the Wood Theater.

This is probably the only former F. W. Woolworth Co. 5 and 10 Cent store in the entire world to have been converted into a live performance theater. And what a wonderful venue it is. There is not a bad seat in the house. This is my third time attending a performance here and every time I’m still amazed at... More

I had the opportunity to see a show that had the most amazing actors . (Uncivil) Not only was the show worthy of seeing again and again the theatre was beautifully kept and the staff and volunteers made you feel at home. The theatre had "all good" seats and the sound system was great. The staff goes through a lot... More

Used to be a Woolworth's decades ago, now a regional theater. Seen some great productions in past years, inexpensive & great seating. Now serve wine etc.
