It is a 15 minute bike ride from La Passe but very worthwhile. Good concrete road through a beautiful tropical jungle setting with occasional reggae sounds coming from the houses. There are fruit stands along the route to relax and to quench a thirst. Grand Anse is a beautiful big white sandy beach with good surf and 'standard' granite rock... More

Lovely big beach with nice, manageable waves and amazing colors. Sea might get rougher from May to September, but it was perfectly swimmable on April.

One of the best beaches on La Digue. It is more wild than D'Argent but equally beautiful. Be careful of strong currents, sometimes you cannot swim. The only drawback is that it is quite far and steep with the bicycle. I got really tired! Food nearby is good and staff very friendly and polite.

This place is worth the steep ride to get there from La Passe! Huge, uncrowded beach in a picturesque setting, with great waves to splash about... Our favourite beach on La Digue! (Then again, we almost got our bag stolen at Anse Source d'Argent, so not the best memory!) A visit to the nearby Anse Coco is a must.

Arriving by a narrow path with your bike or on foot, you'll discover one of the most beautifull beach in the seychelles. You can, either spend your times surfing the waves, or lay on the beautiful white sand to refine your tanning, or take a hike to Anse coco, its twin sister 200m north of it. The best time of... White sand, huge waves. Even bettet was to climb the trail at the end of the beach over to Petit Anse. Spend a fantastic day in the shadow of a rock. Very few people there.

This is a pretty beach, has some shade, and a restaurant (Lautier Coco). It is better for swimming as has deeper water, however there are permanent undertows/ "rips" near the rocky headlans so caution is advised if not a strong swimmer. There is sometimes a shore-breaking wave that can make it awkward to enter the water.. I am a strong... More

it's a beautiful beach, you have to be careful to swim because the waves are big and there is the current that push you out at sea. Just stay a bit out the breaking point of the wave and it's fantastic. the sea water is very warm, almost hot!

especially if you climb over to petit'anse, you're in para-paradise :) even less people, beautiful sea, white beach ... amazing. don't forget an umbrella against the sun, there is not too much shade. pittoresque cliff and perfect scenery rounds this beautiful beach and its little sister off. THE place to relax and enjoy yourselves. P.s. don't forget to stop at... More
