If only it was warmer outside... the views were spectacular. But that's what you get when you decide to visit a wine trail the 1st week in March. It was snowing on and off, but we longed to take a glass outside! This was a lovely tasting room with a very cordial team serving, very knowledgeable about their vintage. We... More

Off the beaten track, but worth the ride, is the Whitecliff Vineyard and Winery. Their wine is excellent and some more reasonably priced than others. We enjoyed their Red Trail wine, and was one of the reasons our son decided on having his wedding their. The mowed field, overlooking the Shawangunk Mountains, was big enough for two tents, and staffer,... More

This is good winery with beautiful grounds. Wine was good coming from NY. :) I gotta say a little pricey for a tasting but you do get to keep the glass good thing you get to choose what you taste or get a glass of something. Staff was great very knowledgeable and welcoming.

I went here with a friend as part of the Shawangunk winery wreath event. They have the best ornament so far (we went to 9 wineries in the first day). The views are spectacular and the tapas they handed out were great. I loved the two seperate tasting rooms. The staff were friendly and attentive. They were the only place... More

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff was friendly and attentive even though the tasting room was packed. They would run out from behind the counter and pour our tastings. Beautiful grounds, dog friendly, really enjoyed our time here

Have gone many times here, but came with friends this past weekend. The tasting room was very busy, but one of the workers came to us pretty fast and assisted us with a menu to know what type of tasting we wanted to do. We did a half red and white tasting and weren't disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the reds... More

We've been to wineries throughout the US and found Whitecliff to be a disappointment. Seemed understaffed as our hostess was all over the place. Surrounding countryside views were nice but tastings were a bit pricey for the pour. Enjoyed Sky Island. Grounds need upkeep.

We did three different samplers, as we all like different things. The prices were very reasonable. You can bring a picnic and sit out on the lawn. The view is outstanding and the wine is delicious. I recommend the red port, but others in our party liked the sky island red.

If you haven't been here in a few years, it's worth another trip. They have vastly improved the taste and quality of their wines. They have a new head winemaker and are sourcing grapes from the Finger Lakes and Long Island. We absolutely enjoyed the Sky Island Red and the Reserve Merlot. We enjoyed the tasting so much in fact,... More

It was our first trip with the dogs and we are so glad that wineries allowed the boys to join us! We prefer the NY state whites to reds but the Red blend they had was tasty. The dry Riesling surprised my husband - he tends not to like Rieslings.
