Beautiful area to relax. It has a beautiful memorial for the airliner that went down in Moriches Bay. Great place to do a little fishing.

The beach hut has good enough food and live music. The beach is a little dirty and the people are a little loud. There are so many beaches that are better that are worth the extra drive.

This place is a dump. It's dirty with dog crap all over. With all the money the county makes they should enforce some rules. Wait we did see the park police riding bikes trying to catch campers drinking. Many of the spots are very small...More

There are several things you can do. Of course the Ocean beach has good waves for body surfing and limited surf boarding but they also have tent and RV camp sites for Suffolk county residents. You can go for long walks along the tranquil ocean...More

Can I use the off road fishing permit from Robert Moses and drive on the beach at Smith Point County Park? If so, is there an air compressor station to refill the tires when coming off the sand anywhere nearby?

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. You can probably call the Suffolk County parks department office and they should have an answer for you.
