Located in East Marion New York, Lavender by the Bay has been growing the highest quality lavender on Long Island for more than 15 years. We offer seasonal fresh cut bunches, dried lavender, lavender plants, lavender sachets and crafts, and honey from our own beehives. In 2002, we expanded our company by purchasing 17 acres of farmland in East Marion, New York. We have planted twenty varieties of lavender across ten acres of farmland, yielding over 80,000 plants for cultivation. In order to preserve the beauty, form, and peaceful nature of the farm, we must now impose a $5 per person (12 years and older) fee to enter the fields while the flowers are in bloom. This fee goes towards the upkeep and maintenance of the plants, trails, and pavilion.

Basically a retail venue (especially when the lavender is finished blooming) but like a very small patch of Provence on Long Island. Shop is home to All Things Lavender. Not cheap by any means, but worth a visit. Is evidently the largest lavender farm on the east coast, but it's not all that huge. Still, there's nothing else like it... More

Lavender by the Bay is a hidden gem! Such great pictures there and cute little shop! A lot of bees, just be aware. But highly recommend a visit!

What can I say about this gem? It is beautiful and can be very intimate if you go during the week. They currently only had a small patch of English lavender blooming, but it was worth the drive getting out there. I loved it and I do recommend it for lavender lovers. I also recommend their soap, which I bought and love... More

Our hotel was right next to this location. We couldn't help but stop by since we were greeted by the fragrance every time we entered or exited our room. Unfortunately the season had just ended by the time we decided to make a visit so we couldn't get much, but from what we saw it will be worth the visit... More

My wife and I stopped by late in the afternoon. Our late August visit fell between the July harvesting of the French lavender and the soon to be harvested English lavender. Both were wonderful.

It can get a little crowded in June/July, but the lavender fields are just beautiful! Bring your camera and have a fun time!

By the time I made it out East all of the lavender was picked but it was still a fun experience. There were chickens running around, fresh farm eggs for sale, a nice place to lounge, and of course plenty of lavender oils, soaps, and more. I bought the lavender pillow spray for relaxation and sprayed it as soon as... More

I am a culinary professional out in the Hamptons and my last day off several like minded souls joined me for our Lavendar fix. It was magical.... Bees were humming and the breeze was blowing, it's worth the $5. Price of admission just to feel your blood pressure drop, not to mention purchasing culinary goodies for our shortbread teas. Great...
