How lucky can you be to live so close to one of the world's most beautiful beaches - If you have been to the Caribbean or to Hawaii or to the South of France you are lucky, but you don't have to go that far...More

A review of the beach rated #1 in the US several years ago is just that, #1. Yeah they charge for parking, but it is reasonable and the beach is just the best with great lifeguards and food in the pavilion. Come out and enjoy!!!!

This was a great experience. Relaxing beach, with good infrastructure, polite visitors, and great weather. We visited both during the day, as well as at night, with a firepit, some wine and a great view. Very restricted which makes this a great place.

The title is correct and locals know and favor it. Crowded on Summer weekends, but not awful. Nice because it has a snack bar where you can sit & eat overlooking the ocean.

It's great to have friends who work at Main Beach as I usually get to park for free; otherwise, I think it's $25 or $30 for a car for the day. The good news is the ocean is quite close, maybe 150 feet of sand,...More

We are not beach people but since it's fall, we decided to go because we knew we would avoid the crowds. Had read that Main Beach was highly rated by Dr Beach (some PH D guy from FL). One of the highlights of our trip!...More

This is a spectacular beach. During the season--Memorial Day to Labor Day ( amend a bit longer on both ends) a parking permit is needed for the parking lot, although on weekdays a per day fee is available. There is a jitney for East Hampton...More

There is nothing quite like a romantic autumn lunch at the beach. The Main Beach is clean, quiet and tranquil. Perfect for a romantic stroll with the one you love!

Huge beach with a stunning view! Very open and therefore windy at times. Soft sand - but not many amenities.

Enjoy beautiful white sand, clean cool water and amazing clam chowder at the grill. Lifeguards are on watch over the swimmers and all is well here!

Hi. The driving distance from Wainscott to Main Beach is less than 5 miles. If you are not a resident of East Hampton Village, where Main Beach is, you have to pay $375 for a season parking pass. Or, if you go only for the... More

There is a hotel called the Hedges Inn thats really nice. Also the Huntting Inn is also real nice. I would recommend Hedges Inn though because it is in walking distance from Main Beach.
