Being a wine industry employee, I love to visit other local wineries and vineyards. McGregor has some of the best wines in the FLX, and is a must see for wine lovers around the world. The Rosé de Cabernet Franc is one of my all time favorites, along with their sultry Cabernet Sauvignon. The Black Russian Red is always a... More

McGregor Vineyards is refreshingly different than other wineries on Keuka Lake. When you walk in, they seat you at a large table and serve you a snack plate with your wine tasting. This was a great way to both sell the foods from the plate in larger portions (try the spinach parmesan pesto- it is phenomenal), but shows you that... More

I've been to about a dozen tasting rooms in the Finger Lakes and McGregor's is my favorite. The wine is good -- though not particularly great -- but the atmosphere of their tasting room is wonderful. After so much standing at other vineyards, it was wonderful to be shown a seat -- and a seat with a lovely view of... More

After a long day of wine tasting on Seneca Lake we stopped at McGregors at the end of the day on our way home. We liked their set-up where you sit at big tables with excellent views of Keuka Lake - no standing at a tasting bar - it had been a long day so sitting was good. They serve... More

My husband and I were very surprised to find the richness and depth of flavor in McGregor's wines that are often missing in New York state wines. Until our visit, we had summarily classified NY wines as light and sweet, and since that is not our preference, we don't often purchase wines from the Finger Lakes region. McGregor's has changed... This winery was recommended to us and we visited over our recent 4 day Finger Lake stay. Really liked the "tasting" @ a private table. Fee nominal and wine very good. The additional cheese and chocolate pairing was an extra bonus. Will definitely return next visit.

Enjoy coming here. You get treats to have with your wine and you keep glass all for nominal fee. Come on Saturday night during summer and there is music too.

33 of us Gulpy Sippers celebrated our 10th Annual wine tour with a stop at McGregor Vineyard! It was Yummmmy fun! The winery is a unique and inviting, as we were all seated for our tasting and sampling plates of cheese, pesto, and chocolate and a super fancy wine, Black Russian! The staff was wonderful and the tasting room is... More

Very friendly staff and great views. We were served free small appetizers which were very tasty and a wine glass to keep. Great experience and different approach from the other wineries. Kerry was our server and shared some informative information. Highly recommend and hope to return again.
