The House of Painters of Zalipie serves as a house of culture and a center for the promotion of the "painted village". You can get information on the location of the painted houses, of which there are about 40 in Zalipie, learn about local traditions and visit an exhibition. Workshops are also offered on site. In front of the building are a very photogenic typical thatched cottage and a well. The House of Painters, next to the farm of Felicja Curyłowa, is an essential point to start the visit of Zalipie.

Best place to take some Instagram photos, the village hall's walls are hand painted with beautiful flowers, clean toilets and a small gift shop on site, the a nice kids play ground which helps to keep the kids busy

There is a park for kids to play in and some quiet routes for walks. Not much to see inside but it's quite pretty. Free to visit

I didn't know the feeling of being inside a painting before-now I know. If you have the chance to visit go there-it is really a fairy-tale place, nevertheless the weather was awful and it rained a bit - the beauty of the houses is seen even in this weather.

On a short visit to the Zalipie area, this was one of our stops. The old house museum and the church we visited were great whereas Dom Malarek is a bit different. It is essentially a large building that is perhaps a couple of decades old (size and look of a small supermarket). Inside there is a place to buy painted objects, to watch items being painted to sell, and some areas of painting on the walls. There is a large meeting hall which was full of children doing crafts. Overall, if you are visiting the other sites nearby you might stop in to take a break (and use the facilities) and do some shopping.

This place is beautiful and embodies a folk tradition of Zalipie. It is a bit off the beaten path and there is not all that much to see and no restroom available.

This place is really unique. Covered in painted flowers, gives you a good feeling about this unique village and its art. You can buy nice souvenirs here.
