We stopped in for a few minutes after our tour of the Baseball Hall of Fame. It's an old timey stadium and has a little history pinned up near the stairs. It was open to anyone when we went by (no admission!). We ran into...More

The park is one of our favorite parts of our yearly visit to Cooperstown. We have watched all levels of games here - from Little League to Over-55 teams; all free! And, it's great to see some familiar faces each year. If you're a true...More

I have attended the Hall of Fame Classic every year now for the past few years, and it is definitely worth it! Doubleday field is a lovely ballpark and you always feel close to the action! Definitely worth the trip for any baseball fan!

First time here. Nice old time stadium. Got good seats but it is hot and sunny. Game had nice action. Lots of interaction with fans. Seats are bleachers in ok condition.

The Abner Doubleday Field is a neat place to go in and take a quick look around. Lots of history there, but unless a game is going on, then not much more to take in.

The Field’s parking lot is a good place to park for a day in downtown Cooperstown. There are actually games being played there on a regular basis. The day we were there, two high school baseball teams from Connecticut played a game starting at 1:00pm....More

Not much to see here unless a game is Taking place. Great for youth to be able to play on field with such history. We were here off season but able to catch a game - not sure what it would be like in summer

It was on my "top 10 places to visit" during my 2017 US Trip. It took us more or less three hours trip from Jersey City, NJ, but being a baseball fan, it's worth it. The ballpark is made of mixed wood and steel, so...More

There was snow on the field and I did get to run/walk the bases, but it was awesome to see. As a man who grew up playing little league, this was a place I always wanted to see. If you are even a casual fan...More

Checked out this classic before going to the hall of fame. I am not sure if they do tours or if there is more to see on the inside. Visited in the winter.
