We were lucky enough to see the beautiful Andrew Wyeth 100th birthday exhibit. Another fascinating display was about Alexander Hamilton with some of his writings. There weere also two markers on thefloor indicating the distance between Aaron Burr and Hamilton during the famous duel.

Very good collection, particularly the Native American exhibit. They also feature a good Americana collection. A must do if you go to Cooperstown.

We enjoy visiting smaller museums. The Fenimore Art Museum is small but comprehensive. It covers American Indians, ice skating history, Andrew Wyeth paintings and the history of Fenimore Cooper. The $12.00 fee is well worth it. Parking could not be easier too.
