Wonderful place for a stroll around the grounds. Would still give it a 4-rating for off season visits, for the house tour, but if you can, go when the grounds are in bloom. THat's the real star attraction here.

We visited in May 2018, many trees and flowers in bloom, a beautiful place. The Mansion was also very interesting to see. We had a nice lunch at their cafe. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Well worth the reasonable price of admission

Even in the Fall, it was such a beautiful natural park and grounds. Gardens, trees and lots of green space and the mansion grounds are just beautiful.

We were at the end of the season and things were being prepared for winter. Not the best time to visit. It is a beautiful piece of property. The Mansion, large and quite dark, is interesting but not that pretty. The gardens offer many green...More
