Damiani Wine Cellars celebrates the unique microclimate and dramatic landscape that is New York's Finger Lakes. We cultivate several vineyards nestled along the eastern shores of Seneca Lake where we purposefully limit the amount of fruit per vine to achieve concentrated flavors, and work with other premier growers in the area to source the finest grapes each vintage. The results are wines yielding extraordinary complexity and finesse, wines showing distinct character and expression of the land.

They have great wines. They also are affiliated with an amazing line of chocolates, which you can try if you do the wine/chocolate pairing. I've always had friendly service there, and I always buy something after tasting.

We have been vacationing in the Finger Lakes for about 10 years. When we first started vacationing there, friends who know wines recommended that we avoid the reds. Now there are Finger Lakes reds that are getting good reviews from major wine mags. Damiani has...More

A good tasting experience—service good, took a bit for them to warm up but we are a fun crew and all was well...the Bollicine sparkling (a prosecco basically) was delish, but wasn’t sold on the reds in general (which were a highlight according to our...More

Next on our list of must stop wineries (from John at Wagner Vineyards) was Damiani Wine Cellars. John told us to ask for Michael and we were very happy that he was available. We decided to stay with the reds, which we heard were excellent,...More

Do not miss this winery. It is not on the FL map but it is right on the main road on the east side of Seneca up a dirt entrance road. They are serious in their approach to wines but not at all snobbish. I...More

There are a TON of wineries in this area... in fact, it is a bit overwhelming. Damiana Winery definately stood out from the rest. They had one of the larger selections of wines (some wineries in the area only had 8 or 10 wines to...More

Both red and white. No sweet wines. Many, many choices. Dry and semi dry. Very nice service. Nice view. Something different than the norm.

Lovely view from the deck of Damiani. However, they need an awning as the deck faces west and gets full sun all afternoon. Probably some great sunset views. We chose to pay $2 extra to taste their reserves (4 reserves plus 1 from their regular...More
