- EZTravelbyAshley78 contributionsYankee StadiumI did not give this a 5 star for a couple of reasons: 1) location 2) ticket office. The stadium area itself was clean and tidy, however, the subway station was dated and dingy. We purchased our tickets through the NYC PASS, which worked well everywhere else. However, the ticket stand told us that they had “no available seats” for the day we were there. The date was not listed as a “black out” with the NYC PASS, therefore we had no way of knowing our tickets would not work on our selected date. We actually found seats, despite the ticket counter saying they did not have any, through Groupon or an alternative booking site. We purchased these tickets while waiting outside of the ticket office and had no issues with stadium admission with these. We had GREAT seats, enjoyed the the game, and rest for our weary feet! 🤣(it is NYC after all, and you are going to get your steps in 😜) We purchased the souvenir cups which served dual purpose as refreshment during the game and a souvenir for the kids!Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 4 March 2024
- JackOld Bethpage, New York3,377 contributionsGreat stadiumWent went here to see an NYCFC game. It was pouring and there were many people, so getting into the stadium was a nightmare let alone parking. It took half an hour just to find 1 parking spot that costed $45. Overall, the stadium is nice with tons of food stands and souvenir stores.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 15 March 2024
- Simon Williams 🇬🇧🏴Cardiff, United Kingdom173 contributionsGreat Stadium and AtmosphereGreat Stadium and Atmosphere. Glad we came here to watch the Yankees play tampa Bay Rays in August 2023. We bought our tickets very reasonable off Stub Hub about $15 I think. The Stadium is a short walk from the Subway. We went to a few bars first Billys Sports Bar which is massive inside. Also Stans Sports Bar. Really good atmosphere in the bars before and after the game. Quite a bit of a queue to get in ,so leave in time. Lots of food and drink places inside with everything imaginable. In very big sizes. The amount of eating that goes on with the fans is unreal. People getting up and down all game. Like a 6 course meal 😀. Even though Yankees lost it was a good atmosphere and really enjoyed. After had a few drinks in the bars near billys again. But beaware here after the game , when the NYPD clear off after their shift, it can get a bit edgy. Just be vigilant. Quite alot of homeless on drugs etc.Visited August 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 21 March 2024
- PeteFredericksburg, Virginia1,200 contributionsThe “Harlem Globetrotters “ of baseball!Personally, I always think nostalgia coupled with fortunate, whenever I get to see a NY Yankees game. I’m fortunate because I was destined to be a fan regardless of whether or not winning. I’m nostalgic because I was a huge fan of all the players of the 1970’s: Guidry, Jackson, Dent, Winfield, Nettles, and Munson, etc. It’s always fun going to see the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball!Visited April 2024Travelled soloWritten 9 April 2024
- Cynthia E1 contributionNothing like Yankees baseball!Yankee stadium always offers a great experience no matter what section you sit in. We have a long history attending Yankee games. It was a special experience going with my mom, sister, nephews, and husband to last night’s game. This time, sitting behind home plate, I got to appreciate great pitching! The people in the stands were excited and friendly, and we enjoyed our first 99 burgers, as well as some great shakes! A great game, plus I loved seeing my nephews dance to YMCA—brought me back to my own little ones doing the same at the old stadium. Fantastic night! Enjoyed seeing Cole get a much-deserved pitching award.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 April 2024
- Scott R2 contributionsOverall Great Time But Way Tool Long for Concession Lines!!Overall great time but you have to do something about the long concession lines. I’ve been to multiple ball parks and this is by far the worst! I know you offer Uber Eats but I don’t want to use that as you don’t offer all foods or certain drinks which stinks.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 21 April 2024
- CoachK2525Dedham, Massachusetts1,361 contributionsGreat venue even for soccer!!Here for a soccer game between NYCFC and NE. Great time was had even though NE lost. Very comfortable. Pricey but what stadium/arena isn't. You can feel and appreciate the history all around the building. Glad we got to see a non-baseball event before a new soccer stadium is built in future!Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 22 April 2024
- Mef94519 contributionsGreat time, and a gluten free grill, too!Gluten free Grill was a big hit, first time my wife could have a ballpark dog in ages! Beautiful park, helpful and friendly staff, great seats in section 322 row 5, clean, easy to get around, and a great game with a Yankee win. Fun day all around!Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 22 April 2024
- Dolores H1 contribution8 and we lost! When I ordered the seat, it was automatically set up for 2. I could not get several tickets because an empty seat would be left! I tried to change the number to no avail. When attending the game, there was no assistance for a long time to get my seat as people were already sitting in it. Not my job to make people move that’s why you have the usher!!! Good luck finding one. When I did she posted out the seat, but the family sitting there were directed too, as there were people in their seats who would not move, in the same row. A supervisor was eventually in the area because of another problem and moved people around. The seat itself was nice with the table in front. I thought the ceremony for John Sterling less than he deserved. No seats for family! No live singer for national anthem, recorded version is good but a live performance adds a lot. Since he is know as a Sinatra fan n impersonator might have been more appropriate. I was expecting more.Visited April 2024Travelled soloWritten 22 April 2024
- RandallWest Des Moines, Iowa119 contributionsYankee’s gameMain reason I came to NYC as I am working my way around to all 30 stadiums. A bit of a chilly night but the Yankees won so that was nice. Food was ok (I think Petco park in San Diego had better food) but the stadium was nice and seats were cushion so overall a good game day.Visited April 2024Travelled soloWritten 27 April 2024

Performance Amazing, Organization Terrible
My first time going to a Bad Bunny Concert, it was amazing. His performance was top notch, I loved every single second of his performance. The way Yankee Stadium staff had it organized made no sense. When you first enter; it's jam packed, what do you expect? However, Yankee Stadium staff did nothing to rectify it. No clear cut directions on where to go and what to do. My fiancé and I ended up waiting on a man made line, to find out there was no reason to do that, because people who were just coming off the train were cutting in, and the staff did nothing about it. We waited around 50 minutes to an hour to purchase merchandise at the tables, because only 2 staff members were stationed there. You had months to plan this and the organization was complete trash.
In our seats, there were people throwing popcorn/cracker jacks from the section above thinking it was a joke. The merchandise I spent $330 on got sticky and ruined, because again Yankee Stadium Staff did nothing. Only when the girl behind us was fed up and went to tell the staff, did they finally come out to survey to see if it happened again. Surely you think this is something they would be on top of? People are spending $300-$400+ for tickets, and expensive merchandise, only to have clowns think it's funny to throw food.
Again, Bad Bunny was great, I loved his concert, and would love to go again, but I would stay far away from Yankee Stadium.

The #1 worst process to get paying ticket holders into the stadium. The Yankees pay their players $250 million but can’t manage to organize an efficient system to get fans past security. The management should be ashamed of themselves. Perhaps they were more focused on the Judge negotiations.

Enjoyed the park and the game was outstanding. We were neutral fans, but opposing fans sitting next to us were not jeered. I would feel comfortable coming as an opposing team fan. That means I would be comfortable bringing my family with younger kids to a weekday day/night game.

Ticket office is terrible. Posted hours are 9-5 on the website, but when you get there, not open until just before game time. They don't answer the phone, unlike every other business that has people answering the phone remotely. Instead, just auto computer prompts, but never a person. They don't respond to emails. Just horrible.

The game and the stadium is everything 1 could ever ask for and more As a Yankee fan. However, the Organization as a whole is truly lacking. I had everything set up to where I would take in a game and spend A substantial amount of money on a tour, however after i arrived At the stadium, I was Advised that I could only take in a small tour Which included Pregame. Although this was not what I asked for I went along with it. I took in a small tour, however, I was told that the pregame event was overbooked and I could not go. The game itself was three hours away, having nowhere to go except The restaurant I began to sit down when I was told that the restaurant was closing and that I would have to go outside and get in line to enter the game separately. Yes, you are reading this correct I was in a line for three hour. As a traveler, there’s nothing you can do but try to notify somebody from the Yankees, I received no help or assistance. By the time the game started at 7:05 I was literally and physically worn out. A terrible first time experience to see the Bronx Bombers.

I attempted to arrive early to get inside stadium to check out the Yankee museum, food offerings, merchandise outlets , bathroom locations etc. The first hurdle for me was the entrance line of fans at Gate 2 …security needed to check each and every bag / purse at the gate- they should have a quick walk in line for attendees WITHOUT a BAG. This slow down caused me to basically rush through the gate, up to my 4th level seat section , I just made it for the first pitch after player introductions.

Reasonable tour of an iconic stadium but it felt very rushed.
The guides were entertaining and engaging but sadly they were more focused on getting the tour complete within the hour so they could begin the next tour.
The museum was good but there was very little chance to linger and read the masses of info as the guides hurried you through so they could continue.
Ideally the tour should end here so customers can enjoy some time in the museum seeing the history of the Yankees before leaving.

I’ve been to a lot of stadiums in the US and this is one of the best I’ve been to for sure. Would suggest it’s worth a visit while you’re in New York. We took a direct train from Herald Square and it only took around 20 minutes.
There is a lot of food choices, might be worth checking in advance to see what you’re gonna want to eat to make sure you don’t miss out. We had the chicken & drink combo mainly for the instagram photo, tip for this would be make sure you get enough sauce as was slightly dry.
We paid $12 for our tickets and were in section 406. In July we were in direct sun until around the third inning. Also from this section you can’t really see the big screen which changes the experience slightly. Near the end of the game we walked down and watched from the concourse of the second tier and the atmosphere was 10 times better then in the 4th tier. If I were to go again I’d pay the money to sit in at least the second tier it seemed to be a much better experience.

Yankee Stadium is a must visit for all die hard baseball fans. I was a huge Derek Jeter fan growing up, so this was a must-do when I moved to New York. It truly feels like you are experiencing baseball history from the moment you are waiting to get into the ballpark. I recommend everyone to come a bit early to visit Monument Park, which closes about 45 minutes before the game. The stadium itself is only a few years old so it’s in great condition. And whether or not you’re a Yankees fan, the atmosphere is enjoyable and experience is fantastic.

We had a rain delay so it diminished our overall stadium experience but that's not anyone's fault. Common to post covid some places are no longer operating including some smaller food places at the stadium. I am not a sausage or hot dog person so it affected my experience. Line of sight was good but honestly of the 3 stadiums we saw in two weeks, these tickets were the most expensive and the furthest away from the field. Yes, you should go it's historic!

Does anyone know if you can smoke in Yankee stadium? I read that you used to be able to in the Hard Rock Cafe but now they changed that.

I will be at the Yankee stadium next week against the twins. Im a Twins fan from europe, and I dont really know how "aggresive" Yankee fans (or baseball fans in general) act against fans of opponent teams. In soccer, fans can be really aggressive. So I`m just wondering if I will be "safe" at the Yankee Stadium with Twins gear (cap, jersey,...)) ?

What gate do I enter Yankee stadium if I’m sitting in section 225
Written 8 July 2023
You’ll be fine entering at any gate, the far side of the stadium at the bleachers is the car park so no seating access.
The rest of the gates are on the ground floor which has the main shops and food stands and good areas for pics, you’ll be located one floor up which can be easily accessed from any stair well on the ground floor.
We went last week as tourists at 322 and came in at possibly the furthest point away but the security don’t mind and it’s cool to walk through the stadium
