Such a neat museum. We experienced Woodstock Concert presentations with our son and daughter-in-law .Watching the videos and sitting in the bus almost made one feel like "you are there"! The grounds are well kept and very scenic. A huge outdoor fireplace makes a great backdrop for pictures. Enjoyed the gift shop and made a few purchases. We also visited... More

Easy to find, I only looked at the Woodstock Festival monument and the field where the event happened, I was too early to go to the museum and I wasn’t sure if it was really worth $15. At the monument, visitors have left messages on the bark chip mulch and tied them to tries (see my pictures) They had lots... More

Our Best Friend (initials PC) recently passed and we pledged to take a Memorial Drive (hence the PCMD acronym) to visit where he had attended the 1969 event. We had been here before but those with us had not. It rained the day we visited, which made it feel even more significant, given the rain experienced at the original event.... More

Really enjoyed the museum. It was well organized and the bean bag chairs in the movie room were a nice touch. Learned a lot and also enjoyed standing on the grounds where the actual event took place. Would like to see a play at the center. It's a nice facility.

Terrific museum with great videos about Woodstock. Also really enjoyed speaking with Duke, a staff member who attended Woodstock. Great ground for walking and good for kids as well.

This is a great museum to go thru to relive not only Woodstock, but a lot of what was happening politically in the 60's. Very educational, great fun, great music playing as you're strolling thru and some great videos to watch. Everyone will recognize some of the clothing in the museum as their own (if they lived during the 60's... More

One of the most amazing places I visited on my vacation. The history made me a little emotional. They have a lot of videos showing Woodstock performances and interviews with people who contributed. This overall is an amazing place that I would definitely go back to.

The museum is amazing. With all the videos, facts and display of items, one can truly live the moment of being there. There is a special exhibit included with the admission of the museum which is located downstairs, as the museum is upstairs. This exhibit had shown styles of clothing of the 60's and 70's. There was a dress up... More

We visited here before going to the venue to see Jackson Browne (yuck). If I can review the venue separately I'll outline why he was yuck... The museum however, was great. We had half price admission which made it even nicer. It isn't large but is jam packed with original clothing, stage costumes, artwork, historic photos, documents, instruments, and even... More
