the park is great, but it get VERY busy on the weekend best to get the early. The restaurant is not that good, limited menu. Best to have a drink in front of the fireplace in the winter.

Back in the 50 to early 70s this may have been a good family place. I did not want to leave anything unattended. I would definitely never go there again, it felt like I got off at a wrong subway, not comfortable.

Great park that includes a zoo, carousel, hiking , restaurants and gift shop. The zoo is very nice with great views of the Hudson. The restaurant upstairs has good food. They offer a buffet brunch on Sundays which is good.

No I don't think so, I believe you can only use carcoal grills. They have them spread out throughout the picnic area. Hope it helps!
