Visit every time I come to Taos

Varied works from local artists. Nice little shop. Bought a couple of paintings over the years. Very reasonable and friendly atmosphere.

This is a shop that features a dozen or so local artists. Some of their pieces are interesting. Very reasonable pricing.

Eleven women work as a co-op in this shop, producing a wide variety of art d' objets. All the artists are local and the one staffing the shop the day we visited was both helpful and interesting.

Operated cooperatively by women artists whose work is displayed in the gallery. A wonderful mix of work - and very close to the Plaza. Visit!

A wide variety of local artisans that range from jewelry to pottery and cards in a quaint shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. The art is unique and very traditional to the area. Beautiful use of color and design.

Very nice find in the John Dunn Shops on Bent Street in Taos. A group of friends, exhibiting their own handmade arts and craft items. The gallery has been in existence for 15 years and member artists change occasionally. There are beautiful contemporary paintings of the breathtaking local landscape, exceptional tin work, very fine small, framed quilt art, really good... More

This gallery has an array of high-quality pieces in a variety of media, from photography to paintings to jewelery. The artists are highly skilled in their crafts, and you are likely to meet one of them when you go in, since it is a cooperative. The work tends to be reflective of New Mexico and the Taos area. There is... More

Las Comadres is probably the oldest artists cooperative in New Mexico. There's a reason for that. The artists have to be juried into the gallery and the ones currently represented are a quality bunch. A visit here offers prospective collectors an opportunity to purchase art directly from the artists, because they staff the gallery on a rotating basis. Particularly noteworthy... More

This is such a wonderful little gallery. It just sparkles when you enter. It has art by Taos area women and each one has special talents. The group is small but the work is well displayed and excellent in quality. I recommend you make a point to go there when in Taos.

This women's cooperative gallery is full of beautiful original fine art and arts and crafts. In my opinion, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and relaxed. In fact, the gallery is staffed by the artists themselves so you get the rare opportunity to actually speak with the artist, all of whom are women.
