Being a horse lover I enjoyed it very much. The woman that contributed the items seemed like a fascinating strong female character and I felt akin to her as I read the history associated with the museum and her life.

Great museum with many artifacts and stories related to the old west and development of the stage coach and chuck wagons. Anyone interested in old west history and visiting Ruidoso should make time for this museum.

Small but packed with must sees. Carriages, wagons, seasonal exhibits, plus the Stadling collections, weapons, and art. Admission to grounds is free; small price for admission to museum

This museum is smaller in size and scope but it does have excellent exhibits. The carriages are especially interesting along with the history of the toilet-located in the restroom vestibule-very cool!

We were fortunate enough to be there when there was a Hurd-Wyeth art exhibit available, and we could have spent hours there. Beautifully presented and gorgeous art.
