Obviously, it all depends on the weather each year. We were skiing at Ski Apache March 5th and 6th, 2016 and while it was warm, slushy spring snow, most of the mountain was open. When we were there this year, February 18th and 19th, 2017, they had just received almost a foot, the snow was fantastic and the entire mountain was open. They had a heat wave over the next few weeks and it melted quickly. Colorado had one of the best snow winters in years that extended the season, with areas like Loveland and A-Basin open until June/July.
