Once again we enjoyed a glass of wine, a delicious meal and a stellar performance. Spencer Theater is by far what you would consider an oasis in the New Mexico desert. Class, comfort, quality, and civilized. Put on your best dress and enjoy a special...More

The Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts stands majestically with its white limestone walls, amidst the junipers, just outside of Ruidoso, NM. It attracts top quality performers and was state-of-the-art when constructed twenty years ago, with special attention to the acoustics. It seats just over...More

Just can not say enough about how lucky the Ruidoso/Alto area is to have such a great facility as the Spencer. Every one of the seats are good and the entertainment is always first class. Put this on you list of things to do.

The Nutcracker was a great assemblage of local dancers --excellent. The Spencer Theater is a special treat anytime -- but this will be a regular Christmas tradition for us now.
