This is a great historical museum. Located on the New Mexico Military Inst. campus. Combine this with a walk around campus and a visit to the famous Sally Port located at the Hagerman Barracks (the Box). This is a very old campus and has a...More

Nothing like I expected. It was a very small Museum on the second floor of a military school. It wasn't every informative but it did have a lot to look at in a small space

The General Douglas L. McBride Military Museum is a hidden gem in the New Mexico Military Institute. Lots of interesting photos and artifacts about NMMI and the many hero's who attended here.

Probably touting this as a full museum is a little pretentious but if you are a military buff, still worth going. Just know it is not expansive.

The McBride museum has tons of history about the New Mexico Military Institute. Exhibits presented accurately as it was. It's interesting to know that the museum used to house the first indoor swimming pool west of the Mississippi.
