Bolwin’s continental divide trading post is sign posted about 100 times so it is impossible to miss. It is a great location to pick up some souvenirs grab a snack and use the clean restrooms. Perhaps you need a giant statue of a bear? They have it! Raccoon cap? Yes! Everything you could want.

Make sure you check prices. We were going from California to Alabama and I saw something I really wanted. On the way home we stopped in to buy. I couldn't remember exactly what I had wanted and realized I didn't have my mask. Just picked up the first thing I liked. Got home and was removing tag to display and realized I had paid way less than I thought. Now I want more and can't find anywhere on internet or souvenir shops in San Diego. My husband says it's too far away to go shopping.

The drive from Phoenix to Las Cruces on I 10 is not know for tourist reviews but I can say I found an exception to review in the name of Bowlins Continental Divide Trading Post.
At first sight I was not sure it was open or that I could get relie for my travel bladder...it was and I did and in nicely appointed bathrooms. I then started to look at all of the merchandise in this huge store that I ran past on my way to the bathroom. It was wall to wall of every imaginable product from nic nacs to high quality products and SW jewelry. We stay much longer than we planned and bought reasonable NM T shirts, and nic nacs for the grand kids and some travel snacks and Turqouis ear rings for the wife. The "free entertainment" from the owners was the most fun as their local stories and history of the relocation of the store was amazing. On top of that they asked if I was a veteran and offered me a Veterans discount to boot. Highly recommended. Do not pass this "book" up because of its cover...it is an oasis o. A desert highway!

this is my favorite place to shop for southwestern and native designed jewelry. Reasonable prices and a tremendous variety of jewelry to choose from. Also a good selection of southwestern trinkets, novelties, toys, and fireworks.

If you’re tired and weary from too many miles on I-10, do yourself a favor and rest a spell here. It’s your typical highway touristy place, with the standard fare, but the people are very nice and they do have a great selection of items, including a vast array of fireworks so you can blow up a small corner of Murica.

Great little spot to stop. Awesome finds, I love Dia de Los Muetos and they have an awesome selection of sugar skulls. People were great as well. As soon as you walk in they direct to were restrooms and food are. As you walk to the restroom you help but stop to look at all the neat things they have for sale. If you get a chance stop by. Thanks you guys!!

Lots of stuff to look at. Some authentic, some not so much, but fun. Definitely worth the stop and pretty good prices.

If you are looking for souvenirs, this is a great place to find them. If I didn't have to get back to the road, I could have spent all day here. Whether it's souvenirs, jewelry or offbeat clothing, you can find it all here. And the staff were so friendly. I loved visiting with them. It's too bad they don't have a gas station. But they have accessible washrooms. Great place. Don't miss it.
