Very interesting inside exhibits on the history of farming and ranching in New Mexico. Beautiful cactus gardens outside. Steer, sheep, etc outside for the kids but too hot in August. $5 admission fee.

A modern, well kept building flanked by historical replicas and corrals with obviously live animals, makes this the perfect location for citified folk to understand the rural heritage of our land. Admission price easily worth the tour. Be sure to save enough time to see...More

Very nice place to stop if traveling with kids. A good couple of hours of entertainment looking around the indoor and outdoor area of the ranch. We enjoyed the indoor exhibits and the outdoor ranch had livestock.

We've visited multiple times: the kids like it. Sometimes the outside exhibits aren't manned with no explanation. The inside exhibits are very well done and the volunteers do a great job explaining to visitors and answering questions.More

Thank you for the review and for visiting multiple times. We're glad the kids enjoy it. We don't always have the resources/staff to man all of the outside exhibits all of the time. If you ever have any specific questions about the exhibits or activities,...More

Interesting place to see! Reasonable fee! If you are into old farm equipment, this is the best collection I have seen! Being a farm boy, I thought it was cool to see! Staff was excellent!

We visited here while we were in Las Cruces. Absolutely fantastic exhibits. My wife loved the Spanish Weaving Exhibit. I enjoyed the exhibit on the Elephant Butte Dam and Reservoir. We walked around the outside also, and enjoyed the bridge!
