We booked the raku firing and throwing class during Labor Day weekend and had an absolute blast. The class was small and we weren't rushed to glaze our pot selections (we each got to choose one to glaze and fire). While our pots were in the kiln we got to try our hands at the potter's wheels. They gave us... More

Have a nice display and an open work area to view. Medium size facility with a couple friendly dogs also.

I did a pottery class with my boys while on vacation, and had a great time. It was a perfect way to spend the afternoon.

My 16 year old daughter wanted to do something "artistic" after seeing all the beautiful artwork in Taos. This was the perfect hands on activity with a nice product to take home in just two hours. The artist who worked with her was enthusiastic and did a wonderful job of making it a great experience.

We loved this experience! I have to say it was well worth doing and the people were so nice and helpful! It was the best activity we did on our trip. The Raku firing is something to be experienced by anyone of any age.

On our vacation to Taos my wife and I planned an afternoon at Taos Clay to get some help using the pottery wheel. Erica was a great instructor. Her hands on teaching made us feel relaxed and right at home. We had a fun afternoon. Now we just have to perfect the technique on our home wheel. For anyone interested... More

New owner has put a lot of effort into attracting nationally known clay artists and displaying collectible clay pieces, although many of them are small works. Some great gifts, and a good variety.

My husband and I were in Taos on a family trip. I was looking for something fun for the two of us to do and decided to treat him to a pottery class. We had a great time! I love that they allow you to glaze a piece of existing pottery to take home and then play on the pottery... More
