A very long suspension bridge which is worth the effort. It sways quite a lot but is built strongly. So, I don't suppose there is any cause for concern. Overall, it was a very good experience.

There are many suspension bridges in Bhutan. This may be the longest may it had a so-so feeling. I will say if there is insufficient time, this can be skipped.

Punakha suspension bridge is near the Punakha dzong and is worth a visit if you are in the vicinity. I would not recommend visiting punakha simply for this bridge, because it is a simple suspension bridge over a river. It is a nice experience to...More
