A cute 400 years old bazar( restored in 2015) interesting to walk through and saw actually a lady weaver in the shop( the first store on the left) if you want to buy wool mate products! All the shops sell the same things in different prices!?!?
I got the local brandy for souvenir.

Nice hystorical part of Kruje. Enough 2 hours to see all and make suvenir shoping. Maybe problem is that bugest part of suvenire is not trafitional Albanian craft but cheap Chinese products

Definitely worth a visit. Lovely gift shops, silver Pandora style jewellery, original art work and antique shops.

Its a small market with colorful shops, on the cobblestone path which leads to Kruja Castle. Various shops selling souvenirs, handicrafts, silver jewellery, carpets, magnets etc. Probably the best place in Albania to buy some souvenirs. So look around few shops and do some bargaining before making a purchase.

We visited this little bazaar high up in the Kruje Mountains. We were told that it was renovated after getting a grant from the US. Nevertheless, this bazaar still maintains its charm. The bazaar has the best Silver ornaments in Albania (but we didn't buy any). There were many handicrafts and artesian goods too. We did pick up very flavourful fresh tea, picked from the Kruje Mountains (refreshing) and a few fridge magnets though.

A cobblestone road will lead you past shops. The bazaar dates from the age of Skanderbeg. Most of the present shops sell standard souvenirs but there are some more unique items too. There are some places to get a meal or a drink. The merchants may ask you to visit their shops but they are not pushy. The far end of the bazaar leads to the castle. It’s a tranquil place, part of Kruja’s lore. Visit it on your way to Kruje Castle.

If you are on your way to Kruje Castle, you will have to pass through the Bazaar, much like walking through a gift shop on many other types of tours.

There are many shops that have basically the same items, so shop around and don't buy the first one you see.

Friendly store merchants that want you to shop their store, but it can be difficult to leave once you enter their store.

Be aware of the terrain, as the walk involves very large cobbles and a center trough used for rain runoff. This is not a walk to be made wearing high heel shoes and would be difficult in a wheelchair or with balance issues.
