Albania is perfectly safe; perhaps one of the safest places in all of Europe. It has so many wonders--natural and ancient man-made marvels. You can travel by car between Macedonia and Albania. Be wary of driving in Albania, though. The signage isn't always visible. You can also travel bus between Macedonia and Albania. Buses do not always follow their schedules in Albania.
