- Martin HStockport, United Kingdom297 contributionsExcellent day out with or without children! This is an excellent day out! We went on 26th December we got there for when the park opened and there were only small queues to get in. We headed straight for the Safari tour and ended up going around twice on the bus as it was so good, and we only waited literally 2 minutes after stepping off one bus and getting on to the next one. The buses aren't overloaded with people, so you are freely about to move around and get a really good look at the animals and take lots of photos. The zoo is also excellent, lots of different animals to see and everything looked really well maintained. We spent around 4 hours at the Safari park and it is well worth a visit if you are staying on Phu Quoc!Dear Martin_Zoe, We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. Good sanitary conditions and places where you can eat at regular intervals. Good experience for both small and large. Spent a whole day here - looking at all the animals, photos with the giraffes at the Giraffe Café and the safari. Just enter the bus and it will drive you through the savannah. Take a grab or a bus to this place. If you stay south on the island, you can take the green, electric bus for free.Dear anneo505, We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. - manatieKanagawa Prefecture, Japan34 contributionsAbout 15 minutes by bus from Vinpearl HotelI came here in March, the dry season! But it was hot! (lol) However, drinks are sold here and there. I think it's very reasonable because you can buy them for about 150 yen. The bird show was fun! Please note that the show is only held once a day (from 10:00 for 30 minutes) during the middle of the week. I thought it started at 10:30, so unfortunately I couldn't see the beginning (cry) There is a tram running inside the park. It was about 500 yen, so if you buy a tram ticket at the entrance, you don't have to walk in the heat. I walked for exercise, but it was too hot (lol) The Safari was also fun, so be sure to ride it.Dear manatie, We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. - PHOAustraliaMelbourne, Australia356 contributionsGreat animal adventureThis is an excellent zoo. The animals are close (if they’re not sleeping) and there’s plenty to see. We walked the first part of the park and took the safari bus to the second part of the adventure. The walking part took approximately 2 hours slowly. Although it is covered with shade from the trees, it was hot so dress lightly and wear comfortable shoes. The bus safari was fun, there’s a huge amount of wild animals to see and some were right up close to the bus including: the rhino, giraffes and tigers. It was all very exciting for everyone. At the end of the safari we had a light lunch in the Giraffe restaurant. This was an inclusion when buying the entry ticket. The restaurant sits right in front of several giraffes who are just fascinating to watch. There’s also an animal show daily but we didn’t allow enough time to see this. This zoo is well worth visiting.Dear PHOAustralia, We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. Specially feeding to elephants, ring tail monkeys and giraffes were fantastic. I took VIP tour, I should wait more than 1hr to buy the ticket, tour guide was good, but comparing bugicar, I recommend to buy bugicar, you can buy ticket quickly, you can look around anywhere with small budget.Dear Supermaeng, We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. - linglingdollyHong Kong, China5,157 contributions[Vietnam's largest wildlife park, close contact with animals]Vinpearl Safari is the largest wildlife conservation park in Vietnam and the first destination. The tour package includes tickets for two parks, so the tickets need to be put away and used again when going to other parks. And you will follow the leader throughout the whole journey, so you have enough time to see many animals. This safari park is mainly divided into two major areas. We will walk through the walking area. Of course, there are sightseeing buses in the park if necessary, but they cost extra. In addition, it feels a bit superficial and not close enough to see animals, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have special needs. As soon as you enter, you will first see groups of flamingos, and you can see birds of all sizes in the bird park. Unexpectedly, we can even see Malayan tapirs. Many animals living in tropical rain forests are protected here. There are about 150 kinds of animals in the whole zoo, and the space is very spacious. There is also a reptile area with lizards, snakes, turtles and the like. There are also a lot of crocodiles, but most of them are hiding because the sun is too strong. We can also buy bananas to feed the elephants, they eat them super fast. There is also a KIDZOO specially designed for children. There are lambs and BB tigers over there. Then we came to the wildlife area. This park bus (air-conditioned) is free. The special bus needs to go through checkpoints before entering. The first thing you will go to is the carnivore area, where you will see lions, tigers, etc. Then enter the herbivore area, including deer, zebras, giraffes, etc. If you want to interact with giraffes up close, you can go to the giraffe restaurant and buy carrots to feed.Dear linglingdolly, We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. - AbbieMelbourne, Australia110 contributionsThe best zoo I’ve been to!The best zoo I’ve ever been to! The safari was incredible & it was lovely to see the animals in very large enclosures, with their babies, living in harmony. The giraffe feeding was an absolute highlight for me, such an amazing experience!🦒 The enclosures are very much open and we watched many feeding times throughout the day, something you don’t often see in other zoos as often as we did. I’d recommend getting there for about 9.30am-10am. Before it gets busy :) We got the package deal from Klook which included the 350,000 dong off food & there is actually a set menu you can get for 2 of you, or even a group of you. This is an immense amount of food and 100% worth it! It also provides access to the safari & into the Vinwonders theme park. Highly highly recommend this option! There are also free shuttle buses - look into this as it takes you everywhere and is air conditioned and comfortable☺️Dear Abbie R, We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. - soubhagyajenaPenang Island, Malaysia74 contributionsSo many exotic animals to seeLots of unique animals I hv not seen in any other zoo before. Safari is the best exp there. Free bus to take u around to see the wild animal's roaming freely.. Great sight to see rhino's, tigers, lions, giraffes, zebras, bears and deers and so many. They provide the free coupon to redeem for food at one of their 3 restaurants.. Limited option for vegetarians though. They also provide shuttle service to certain areas which is paid. Different shows during different hours. They don't hv much birds in aviary and I didn't see much reptiles there. Parking is free. However u need to keep the ticket till u leave. Overall worth to visit.Dear soubhagyajena, Thank you for taking the time to share your review of Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc. We are delighted to receive a positive review from you. Your kind review will inspire our team to continuously strive to provide excellent service to guests. We will take note of the limited vegetarian options at the restaurants within Safari. We are committed to adjusting and improving based on customer needs in the near future. Vinpearl Safari is caring for and preserving more than 2,000 individual birds of more than 80 species. The aviary alone has more than 40 species and nearly 1,000 individuals. Birds normally hide to evade predators, seek shelter from the weather, or locate a secure area to rest, which explains why you haven't seen many of them. We are looking forward to seeing you again at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc! For any further assistance, please reach out to us via hotline 19006677 (#4) or email: we-care@vinwonders.com. I am always a bit leery of zoos in general but this zoo really caught my family by surprise. The animals are well taken care of, have plenty of room to roam, and for one of the first times in my life, I saw animals playing in a zoo! They were so happy! There were several things to do to pique a child's interest at Vinpearl Safari. When you first arrive you walk right into a children's zoo. There, my daughter was able to pet and feed goats. The staff gave children blades of grass to feed the goats and my daughter had the best time. She could have stayed there all day!
There are two parts of the zoo: the walking zoo and the safari zoo. The walking zoo on a cooler day (which luckily was on the day we visited) is very easy to walk. They do have VIP golf carts that can take you from exhibit to exhibit. We found the golf carts quite annoying since we were walking. We had to constantly dodge the carts. It would benefit the zoo to make separate pathways for pedestrians to traverse the zoo safely.
One of the highlights of our day was the lemur exhibit. The lemurs roam free and occasionally jump on guests, which luckily happened to my 6 year old daughter. She was so ecstatic and will likely always remember it!!!
For a small fee for food, children can also feed giraffes and elephants. This was another highlight of my daughter's day.
The safari portion of the zoo was wonderful. Driven in an air conditioned bus, guests get to see many animals like: lions, tigers, bears (oh, my!) and many others like zebras, antelope, giraffes, etc. It was incredible to see the animals up close and with so much room to roam.
I highly recommend visiting Vinpearl Safari if you are on the island with children. It was a wonderful day!

Spent 3 hours here with hundreds of photo taken. This is an organised safari park, with different creatures of animals grouped together for easy observation. Our satisfaction was given to the guided safari bus, which took us around the safari area where nearly all sorts of safari species could be seen throughout the 20 minutes ride with detailed explanation by staff (well in Africa you might have to chase the animals, making it very hard to find and locate them).
Restaurants offered lunch set with very reasonable price, as well as carrots to feed the lovely giraffes and elephants with just 1usd. A children zoo is also located here, providing a better environment for family visitors to meet the animals under the guidance by staff. Love here and will come back to visit the animals next time!

Vinpearl Safari was an unexpected find during our family holiday to Phu Quoc. Our two young daughters loved every minute of it and wouldn't let us leave until they were utterly exhausted.
We attended in October and there were virtually no crowds whatsoever. There were multiple enclosures that we got to enjoy without anybody else around. We suspect that this will change as the development of the north end of Phu Quoc continues and a greater volume of tourists travel here. It may be a good time to visit now before the crowds inevitably follow.
Based on a tip from our hotel concierge, we headed for the bus-driven safari tour at the far end of the park immediately upon arrival in the morning. This proved a great decision as there was no queue and the animals were really active and lively in the cooler, earlier part of the day. The sheer volume of animals that we saw was incredible, with one of the highlights being a black bear approaching the bus to be hand fed through the window by the driver.
The opportunity to feed and interact with giraffes at the Giraffe Restaurant and elephants in their enclosure was great fun for all members of our family. The
Kids Zoo was also fantastic. Our girls were ecstatic about being able to pat and interact with so many smaller animals, including a gorgeous lion cub. We could not wipe the smile off their little faces.
The animals throughout the park looked very healthy with vibrant coats and, as noted above, were very active for large parts of the day. They had lots of room for them to move around in their enclosures. It was really pleasing to see animals that appeared to be very well cared for.
It was a particularly hot day when we attended but we did not find that to be too much of a challenge due to everything in the park being relatively close together, there being plenty of shade and quite a few water mist jets strategically placed and quite a few places to stop and sit for a drink or a bite to eat.
Highly recommended. Very reasonably priced for the experience.

Really nice zoo with all kinds of animals. Free bus from the south regions in the mornings to Vinpearl, but the return trip is only to Duong Dong Eden resort, so if you are going futher, you will need to take a taxi. The safari part was a bit dull cause the safari bus is so full of tourists and we go trough the area really quickly. The ticket to safari costs about 600 000 dong, and the beverages etc on the area are quite cheap (beer approx 30 000 dong).

This is a great safari. The trip turned out to be much better than I had imagined. The animals seem to be well-cared, they look healthy, fit and happy. All enclosures are kept clean with nice settings. The park overall is very clean, too, with lots of trees/shades so walking around is like a leisure walk, even during hot weather. There are many resting places where you can sit down, enjoy the surroundings and have some snacks or water. Staff are friendly & attentive.
I'd highly recommend the animal show (actually a bird show), they are all so lovely & the MC's narration is fun. The safari bus is enjoyable, a tip is to sit on the left side as they tend to be seen from the left windows more than from the right one.
I came with kids and there is a nice kids zoo where the kids can interact with gentle sheep or feed them (one staff will give you a bunch of leaves to feed the sheep).
It would take roughly 4-5hr to see all the exhibits on foot/safari bus/the show. I heard the Giraffe restaurant (right outside safari gate) is good too, with option to hand feed the giraffe. I'd definitely come back to this safari for this experience & find out more interesting activities that I have missed this time.

This is a really great safari park! I would even say it was a better experience than other safari-style parks I've been to in the U.S. The air conditioned safari bus is such a great concept, I wish other zoos would do the same! The rest of the animal exhibits were also nice.
The animals seemed comfortable and well-cared for. My kids enjoyed feeding the giraffes and elephants (roughly $1 USD to buy the food).
You can opt to pay for a shuttle to transport you around the zoo area, but we did not do that. I found the walk really easy in the winter season. Perhaps in warmer weather the shuttle ticket would be worth the cost.
The whole experience can be done in about 4-5 hours. My only complaint is that the ticket is single entry. Food options in the park are somewhat limited, and by choosing to eat lunch at the restaurant right outside the gate we were denied entry back into the park (we had seen most of the park anyway at that point, I should have read the ticket terms).

Greetings from sunny Vinpearl Safari.
First of all, we would like to say thank you so much for your feedbacks about our park. Those compliments become the motivations for our team to work harder with the aim of bringing the best experience to the clients.
Besides, it is so pity that you are not happy with the single entry ticket at Vinpearl Safari. And because this is the regulations of this tuor of ticket so we cannot do more. However, we recommend you have your accommodation with Vinpearl hotel system accompanied with Safari & Vinwonder package for the next time. When you do it, you have no limitation of entry both Safari and Vinwonder during your stay at our Vinpearl hotel.
We really appreciate your constructive feedbacks for improving our services in the future.
Looking forward to seeing you at Vinpearl Safari!
Best Regards,
Customer Service Team,

Two days ago we went to Vinepearl land and spent the whole day there. Today we visited the zoo/safari and I wanted to rate it as 3.5/5 but since half dont exist I will rate it for 4/5. Its a relatively small zoo and safari and also the shading is not so good so we had to leave at about 1pm after visiting the safari twice. We fed the elephants giraffe monkeys and sheep.
We were not amazed but it worth visiting with young kids. There are more things to do in vinepearl land.
If you plan to take the combo ticket then go first to the zoo and then to land at about 12 oclock to use the waterpark to cool off. there is no way to cool off at the zoo/zafari and sun is burning.
On the safari better seat on the left side of the bus.

This was a fantastic day trip, we spent a few hours walking round and enjoying seeing the animals as well as how lush and well maintained the zoo was followed by the safari. The safari was great, the host made an effort to speak on both Vietnamese and English for those on the bus, only annoyance was those sat at the front standing up and blocking the view, would have been nice if the tour host had asked everyone to remain seated so everyone could see.
The entrance fee is very high for Vietnam, but they give you a 150dong voucher wirh each ticket which can be spent in some of their restaurants and there was no catch or minimum spend etc so we enjoyed a few drinks and snacks using our vouchers.
The flamingo restaurant was a state, so much piled up food on tables nor cleared and food on the floor that meant we bought our food and drinks and ate out.
Clean bathrooms dotted around the zoo was a bonus

This is a must see and do for adults, couples, and families. Seeing animals in these open areas is far better than the enclosed habitats.
There is a restaurant where giraffes will approach for feeding. Stop and take a picture and if you’re lucky one of the giraffes will let you pet them.
The steps up to the restaurant are a bit challenging for someone with foot or leg problems, but managed with big steps and holding the rails. Hamburgers and sodas or water with table service.
Do not use flash when taking pictures as it can create panic among the animals.
The animals show was very nice and worth watching. The concerning part was people trying to touch or grab the birds during flight. We were worried that if someone grabbed a bird that it would be injured.
The only issue is that Vietnamese women are notorious are cutting in line. Everywhere I or we went while in Vietnam, some lady would cut the line and have all of her friends and family followers.
When tourism resumes are higher levels and the parks are open later, then it would make sense to buy both passes for the day, otherwise take each one separately as they will take at least three hours each to fully enjoy.

Probably the most popular attraction on Phu Quoc, the Safari is a great place to spend a few hours and from what I saw, all the kids absolutely loved it (and the adults too!). It is located at the North end of the island, and a free shuttle bus runs from Duong Dong at frequent intervals. Otherwise, it will cost you about 350K - 400K VND to get there.
There are two main sections, the first section of the zoo you can either walk around freely and look at the animals or take a guided tram. The secondary area is only accessible via the safari bus which travels through a number of animal enclosures and although you are not allowed outside the bus, the driver will slow down so you can view the animals. There is also a guide on bus who talks about the animals that come into view and spoke in both Vietnamese and English.
The cost for a single adult ticket is 650K VND and includes a meal voucher to the value of 150K VND although I can't comment on what this can get you as I did not redeem it.
I would suggest around 3 hours for a visit and perhaps longer if you attend the animal shows.

Hello, I would like to visit the zoo on 12th May 2024. Kindly guide how to get a VIP pass so the waiting time for Zoo tram, Safari is minimal. Also, is there a separate pass to feed the giraffes at the restaurant?
Thanks,
Priya

Is this accessible for disability wheelchair friendly
Written 25 January 2020
Yes. The walking paths inside are generally flat with some little slopes. But there are a few steps in front of the restaurant; the bus of the safari park tour has steps at the rear door, but it should be low-floor design at the front door for wheelchair accessible (the staffs might have special arrangement and willing to help you i believe).

Dear,
We will go to Phu Quoc island in March. We will stay a week in the resort. Our doughter will have 5 month in March.
The zoo accept the baby for the Safari part?
We will care the baby in the carry bag, not a stroller.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Julien.

Faut-il resider dans un hotel Vin Pearl pour pouvoir acceder au Safari ?
Ou peut-on y acceder en payant a la journée comme simple visiteur ?
Merci d’avance pour la réponse :)
