At least 5 times we have walked on this beach and is unforgettable. This is one of our favorite beaches in Vietnam. If the rubbish was less, it would have been even better.

Incredible, very nice beach with white sand. But there are not any big restaurant or resort so the services not very good. We visit to Sao beach just only for swimming!

Crystal clear water, super peaceful with coconut tree along the beach. Almost no wave at all. White fine sand. We got 2 beach chair, under coconut shade or umbrella, for 60,000vnd each (~$3 each) and you can use until you leave. Superb.

The absolutely best beach in Phu Quoc. White sands and amazing water. They could clean the beach more from trash but otherwise perfect.

Beautiful white sand beach that reminds you of something you see in the Philippines. Really perfect, a few restaurants and hammocks and resorts. When we went there was barely any people.. extra quiet in the mornings

Agree with many other reviewers, this beach is naturally stunning (white sand, azure sea) but is being ruined by the amount of litter along the beach and shoreline. Such a shame. It seems odd that the locals don't seem the slightest bit bothered by it.

Most beaches on Phu Quoc are really nice, but Sao really is the prettiest of them all, with crystal clear water (minus trash floating around) and white sand. It looks like a post card. Definitely a #1 stop on the island. It's also very kid friendly as it's shallow for a long, long way out.

Beautiful beach with white sand and clear water. The beach stuated at a coast so its sea not so wave or deep. You must visit here if travelling to Phu Quoc.

The rubbish is shocking!! Surely they can organise some kind of clean up when the beach, scenery, sea is so beautiful!! We were devastated about the rubbish, couldn't quite believe it actually but i guess that's Vietnam?! Maybe they'll catch up with the resorts who clearly clean their section of the beach. But yes a beautiful beach minus the rubbish... More
