    pearls showroom
visited here when i had my five days trip to phu quoc at end of November in 2023.that time, i had a tour,i booked a car with private driver.Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm is one of my visiting places. it is actually a showroom, selling pearls, jades, shells products.when arrived,a staff guided me and explained something about pearls to me.there are a museum and gallery inside the building.you can see ancient artifacts, potteries, ceramics…here. after that i went to their showroom.the products quite nice,i bought one pearl pendant and one pearl brooch.price is ok for me. it is my first time, cant compare.but if you really love its products, and the price is ok for you, then buy it! you may not find it at other places. the price varies ,some very expensive, cuz the designs, the pearls quality, also the size are different. you can drink coffee here, cuz there is a cafe attached. i saw Ngoc Hien at the airport too, i think they must be a famous brand in phu quoc.

Beautiful pearls - interesting free tour
Very interesting - our driver took us as it was free to enter. You start with opening of the oyster shells and shown the ages of the pearls. Then a tour though all the antiquities that have been found in the ocean (I wish some of these had been for sale). Then you are passed on to a sales person. Fairly pushy but I love pearls. I purchased an oval shaped pearl bracelet (a bit cheaper due to their irregular shape) for $56aud and large pearl earrings (also an irregular shape( for $135aud. Not much to buy on Phu Quoc Island so I was happy

Last December, I rent a car to take my kids to go to the beach for a fun day. I didn’t even know why the driver kept to stop in a lot of shopping store and waste my kids fun day. This issue made me very disappointed to found out that drivers get points to get gift if they bring customers to them. It likes cheater!

First Place , he had stopped at Ngoc Hien pearl. Like so many 1-2-3 stars reviews here. They are telling true. I have exactly the same experiences with this place. Plus, I don’t even know why I spent 35000$ there. After over night ( I got night time and request return early morning), I have wanted to return one earrings because I was feeling I have got overprice and they are not right price with quality. Design is not really interesting. ( I got two earrings ) . But they didn’t let me return it or have to lost 50% money. I feel lost 3500$ for cheap designs, low quality.

I came back US, check all prices about sea pearl. I got over price 2-3x times . It was my big lesson.
US always protects buyers, I always feel safety to shop in US with free return policy in 30 days-90 days!

Buyers be aware Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm Showroom - Phu Quoc and drivers at Phu Quoc.

I had promised my wife a set of Phu Quoc pearls as a belated Xmas present and booked a car through the hotel to take us shopping for gifts and souvenirs. The driver brought us to this place.

Initial impressions were favourable as we were met on arrival by a young lady in traditional dress who explained she was going to tell us about the history of pearl fishing on Phu Quoc and how pearls were produced. This sounded very interesting but unfortunately it was rushed and garbled as if she was trying to get through it as quickly as possible. Then she took us to a vast and very impressive showroom of every type of pearl jewellery imaginable. Members of the sales staff latched onto us and walked in close proximity no further than 0.50 metres from us in silence. I tried to make polite conversation but got short sharp responses in return. Very soon we both got fed up with being made to feel uncomfortable and left without buying anything.

This was disappointing as the pearls were lovely and the prices reasonable by UK standards. Maybe the management might want to evaluate the sales techniques employed by their staff as I would have thought that making potential customers feel relaxed and comfortable might be a better way of getting them to buy something.

Staff are so polite. Everything is good. I am very interested in harvesting pearl process. The local guide provide for you any knowledge about pearls. Esspecially, they show me how to discriminate between fake and real pearls.

Ok place. Nice pearls and everything, but the staff stalked us and did not give us time alone to look and decide what we wanted to buy. It was impossible to relax and even after we made a purchase they didnt allow us to go around to watch the jewellery, they just showed us the door out . Please... just give the customers some time to look around so they can make up their mind. You scare the customers away.
