Found this to be slightly more expensive than Matahari in kuta square which was surprising. A lot more choice though. Staff not the friendliest. Would definitely return.

After a longer trip in asia, coming from cambodia, we were craving already for apples, a proper bread, cheese, yoghurt..etc. It was such a blessing to find all these in a supermarket, I said merry christmas :) Quite big selection from food to souvenirs, bikinis, bags.. good price as well! Definitely worth a shopping ;)

Supermarket Bintang is a central and convenient supermarket store within walking distance of most hotels and villas in Seminyak. It has a great selection of fresh produce, toiletries, alcohol and all essentials you may need while on holiday. And it's at a reasonable price.

Pretty popular supermarket full of Aussies! Lots of variety and cheap food and drinks. We purchased a raincoat as it was pouring rain and they gave us the wrong ones. It was very difficult and frustrating trying to exchange but we got there in the end. Security very strict on letting people in with bags/backpacks so best to leave them... More

It became a standard part of our day to drop into the Bintang and get supplies during our stay in Seminyak. Beer, chips, cheese, noodles etc. Airconditioned (yay). Plenty of food selection and souvenirs. Fresh bread, soft drink. No wonder it is full of tourists picking up their bits and pieces. Make sure if you are buying fruit and vegetables... More

This supermarket has everything you will need. Very reasonably priced and everything is of good quality. Lots of choice just like a supermarket in the UK.

Covers the basics of what you'd expect in a supermarket, plus a few extra bits and pieces. Not exactly much else to choose from in the area.

Been to this supermarket a million times and everytime I shop elsewhere I wish I had gone back to the Bintang Supermarket. Huge range of goods all at good prices. Has a great money exchange with reasonable exchange rates, a good selection of alcholic beverages, good range of everyday use items and helpful staff. Only the slow checkout can be... More

We had to check out 'Bintang' Supermarket. It was a bit like a Crazy Clarks/Big W/Kmart/IGA all combined in Australia. Some funny systems when buying more expensive items (like swimwear at $15 is taken off you and they deliver it to the checkout) but other than that, definitely worth checking out at least for the novelty factor.
