Wide and sandy, has potential, but its not really developed. Apart from upscale beach clubs, not to much has been on offer, no umbrellas to rent or food and drinks vendors offering some basic stuff like salad or beer or ice tea. More stray dogs than people.

Actually there is no such beach called, Pantai Kayu Aya. This is a street name which lies all the way to Petitenget . So, yes, the beach at Kayu Aya is actually Seminyak Beach , near La Luciola and Kudeta which is very nice . Good for sunset ....

This beach is located behind the Ku De Ta restaurant. It's a relatively peaceful beach with many activities available like kite-flying, hair-braiding, massages, body art etc. Or you can simply carry your book & relax.
There are a few restaurants nearby if hunger strikes. The ocean was fairly calm when we visited & a few of us splashed around in the water.
