The walk to the waterfall is covered and not too hard, some climbing "steps" on a set out path. Make sure to go to the toilet at the main gate before starting this adventure.

Last time we stayed in Swellendam we onoy had one night and a two year old, so hiking was not an option and something we wanted to include on this two night stay. The nature reserve offers incredible scenery but there must have been a...More

The hikes to the waterfalls are a must for nature lovers. It was steep, but fairly easy going. The natural beauty of the river and flora were amazing!

This is a delightful but underused nature trail which is well worth a visit and all set against a backdrop of wonderful views across the hills forming a backdrop to the whole area - have a look - there's just no downside !

Enjoyed stunning 3 hour hike with my daughter, felt very safe walking alone and the rim flow pool half way along the hike was the highlight of the walk...easy walk, great for families.
