Chapmans Peak Drive is one of the most beautiful drives in the world and the viewing spots are great opportunities to take the local beauty in more peacefully and discover maybe even some special treasures, like endemic species of flowers or birds. Below, in season,...More

Neautiful views of the ocean and Hout Bay through out the scenic drive along Chapmans Peak Drive with various lookout points where you can stop to admire the view, soak up the sun and smell the ocean breeze

A magical place with the most amazing views. In the summer it would be lovely to picnic there as it is so peaceful.

This restaurant has a magnificent location and view and has, at times, had a lovely vibe. The cocktails are fabulous but the food is quite average.

Great views out to sea and more inland. Weather wasnt ideal on the day I visited but the dark skies made it even more dramatic. There are plenty of stairs to sit on if a rest/ picnic is needed.

Make sure you pick a sunny day, anytime of the day is good but sunset is the best. You may even catch a whale in the bay. Superb views that cannot be beaten. Picnic stops along the way too.
