If you like horses and wine this is for you. I am not a confident rider and felt comfortable all afternoon. If you can ride there are opportunities to stretch your ponies legs. You get to see the area in a completely different way.

Such nice nature horses, our guide Jonathan was super friendly and sharing of his knowledge of Franschoek. It's always great hearing stories from a local. Breathtaking views of the wine farms and valley.

We had an enjoyable hour on a sun set walk to overlook the valley. The horses were well kept and the ride was not strenuous and comfortable even for young ones.

What a wonderful alternative to the boozy wine tours that you can do elsewhere! The horses clearly know their way around and are very used to having riders of all abilities on them. The ride took us through stunning countryside. The 2 wineries were very...More

What a wonderful idea to combine horse riding and wine tasting! We had a great afternoon, although the ride to the first winery was a bit too long, especially for first timers. The second winery was really great. The owners of the horses were very...More

I think you need to email the stables directly as to whether they can fit you in but the horses are some of the most gentle and calm and relaxed ones I have ever been on! Hope you get in and enjoy!
